Lord of the Fries reviews
65Took 25mins for our food to come out and when it did it was so cold. Not what we wanted at all. Never coming back. The people in front of us demanded a refund because of the wait.
Food is very good but night staff is very unprofessional one guy even one guy talk very disrespectfully.
Tasty, 100% vegan, full of options.
Just try it!
Friendly staff and delicious food.
Very good service. Staff is very cooperative. One of the Best place to eat the vegetarian or vegan things. Which is the best part that it's pure vegan. Everytime I go there I just fell in love with their delicious food. Really so yummy.
The best vegan junk food. Opt for the premium patties and you won't regret. They also have another menu for southern style food, however it uses the same patties etc. The Parisian sauce with chips is my favourite.
All vegan, which is great, but wasn't really good to taste. Simply, just over loaded fries, not worth the price. Much better options available just around the corner.
LOVE food. Service was a bit poor at times but I would namely base that on a once off. Usually they're okay.
The food was good, nothing mind blowing. A homeless man came into the store and stole my plate.
Don’t need you incentivising me to inject mystery liquid in return for some free fries. And this is how you speak to ex-loyal customers that you got off side.
Perfect at the end of a night out. Good options and everything is really yummy! Omni's love it too.
Vegan with a heap of gluten-free options. Try the milkshakes! The brownies are outstanding - especially warm. Great place to take in the vibe on Hindley Street while getting a feed. Love the retro style too.
Had a really bad experience here after i was recommended to go, my food was hard to eat. Very salty fries, burger was boring. May have been a bad day as I heard great things, might go back
Very good service. Staff is very cooperative. One of the Best place to eat the vegetarian or vegan things. Best part id it's pure vegetarian.
Good service, food was good quality. I had to pour sauce on my burger because it was dry without it, but lack of sauce is a problem at pretty much every single place in the world. #moresaucepls
Food is good, and there are plenty of options for vegans. Biggest downside is the cost, which can get pretty ludicrous. One of the burgers they are currently advertising (Premium Biggie) was quoted to me as being $18.50 by itself. Want chips and a drink with that? You'll be forking out even more.
I hope that with the nearby McDonald's and Hungry Jack's expanding their vegan options, Lord of the Fries prices will get more competitive in the future.
Parisian sauce with the chips is delicious.
Have decided to find places that sell great chips, and came across this establishment while near the city.
Their name suggests a focus on fries, there are 4 types of fries, it is more of a diner type experience.
Located on Hindley street, with eat in and take away.
Got a regular serving of classic chips, serving size was small for the price ($6), cooked fairly well with a slight crunch. Overall average.
Viraj and Aussie girl working in front are very polite, humble and always gave a amazing service.
Food is always out on time even if its a busy lunch service. Viraj and the girl both work by themself in kitchen and front in a quiet service time but yet there is never an effect onto the quality of food and quality of customer service.
The store is extremely clean as they maintain their cleanliness standards on regular basis.
Music is always on for entertainment of customer. Cheaper options are also suggested by both of them to the customers in terms to meal is better cheap option rather than going for just burger and chips.
Good work guys, Thanks for the lunch service everyday.
The service was good i got large fries and gravy and threw the whole lot away, it was disgusting/inedible, one third of the fries were black (like rot) and it cost me $9
As someone who eats vegan food fairly regularly, I'm surprised I've never been here before. But I doubt I'll go back again:
- Incredibly expensive, $20 for their most basic burger in a meal
- Burger patties are very bland (probably unseasoned), have a nasty floury kind of texture, and fall apart very easily
- Potatoes used for the chips are full of eyes and the chips themselves are largely unseasoned
For the price I expected a LOT better, especially given the quality available for a lower price at similar burger chains.
Their planet-saving vegan type image feels rather disingenuous as well, since they only sell drinks from Coca-Cola owned companies - arguably one of the worst companies on and for the planet.
2 stars instead of one because the staff are nice and friendly.
