Great spot during spring and summer besides the Magpies swooping.
Great playground with plenty of space, close to the river so if you have young kids definitely need to keep an eye on them because there is no fences.

But no fence so watch out for kids running in for a splash!

The reserve faces Long Island in the Murray River. It’s not too big. There is a playground. A good place for leisure and fishing.
Nice place to go fishing with friends and family or walk along the riverbank to relax during sunrises or sunsets.
Loved watching the water flow pasted me, just wish that my Galaxy A32 phone didn't want to go for a swim as well. Oh well the Murray River has claimed another mobile phone. Just don't call the Murray River, because it will never answer it LOL!
In the summer it's a major hit with boating, fishing and canoeing. The place is always clean an the grass green. Bring a picnic blanket an chill under a tree.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Something for everyone! Park for kids, swing for child and parent, place to launch the boat, river to swim in or fish in, climbing and excersice area for all ages.

Plenty of parking, nature play, traditional playground, toilets, sheltered picnic tables, green space and next to a wetlands trail.
Great spot to cool off in the river. Kids can play on the playground and there's bbqs to cook some lunch.

Great location, with good facilities, nice grass and a great view. Just be aware it's usually busy with people enjoying their boats
