Lockleys Hotel

Dinner in the sports bar as the restaurant was booked out. Same menu. Pretty full but not so noisy that we couldn’t speak to each other. Appreciated that the kids meals came with veges they could actually eat. The dessert comes in little plastic tubs (kids).
We had the chicken parmigiana. It was nice.

Farewell lunch for family friend leaving for overseas trip. Plenty of choices for lunch and all dishes finished. We all enjoyed our choice of food.

Decent place for a stop over at the airport. Staff very friendly and the facilities are great, booked again for the night before my flight home to Glasgow

The staff were realy nice.
Good old fashion service & the seniors meals were great value.
My wife had the very popular Lambs Fry & Bacon and unfortunately it was over cooked. As a result it was chewy & grainy. Other than tat all was good. Cheers Paul.

20$ pint n parmi in the sports bar on a Friday night. Quick service. Friendly staff. Not kid friendly but great meal and drink out. Happily go back

My local that I take for granted but when I did have a weeknight meal I was so happy. Good serving, warm, delicious. Place was packed but socially aware of distancing everywhere. Excellent staff always working, always serving.

Enjoyable lunch catch up with friends, the Lockleys provided a conveniently located venue. Good variety of meals on the menu at a range of prices, daily specials and a seniors menu with a free drink voucher!
Efficient service, easy parking and comfortable decor. I recommend a visit!

Had our Melbourne cup lunch yesterday
Great atmosphere staff were great and helpful our lunch was delicious. We will definitely recommend and will book in for next year.

3rd year in a row we've attended the melbourne Cup lunch and once again everything was first class.
Particularly enjoyed the live background music once the main races had finished

Had lunch here with my wife and her brother, we all enjoyed our meals. The prices was very reasonable.

Great ribs, huge serve. I took some home for lunch the next day. Bar staff are so friendly.

Rating just on the accommodation, I can safely say it was the dirtiest, odorous room I’ve ever stayed in. Upon walking in we were hit with an absolute stink. Was a mixture of the bathroom, 30 year old carpet and damp. Massive stains on the carpet, bed was covered in hairs and barely made. The toilet represented something from American horror story and finally the fridge was moldy. Had a wonderful view of bird droppings and kind of a car park. Room was only $100 but still… would’ve been the most scaring experience I’ve had ever at a motel/hotel. The staff were really helpful and lovely tho.

Dropped in by chance for a drink and a snack on the way to band practice. Classic suburban pub. Friendly staff in the Sports Bar. Lots of big TVs, and a decent crowd, but not noisy.
$5.50 for a pint of Coopers Pale. ️
Good work by the kitchen. Wife had salt and pepper Calamari. Tender and moist and well seasoned.
I picked the daily special of Curry Pot Pie and what a delight! Peasant food done to perfection. Chunks of tender beef in a mildly spicy onion gravy, with a flaky pastry lid. Served with great chips, and a small jug of what I thought was tomato sauce. It was more of a relish, and paired well with the pie.
Even the waitress who cleared the dishes was genuinely interested in what I thought of the food.
Will definitely be going there again.

Well set out socially distanced tables and standing area. Service was good. Meals were on the large side. Beef Snitzel, Stick Pork ribs & Chicken loaded Caesar Salad.

I had a booking at the Lockleys yesterday that I made 2 weeks ago and travelled a fair distance to get there to find they were shut. They had my phone number and I would have thought out of courtesy they would have notified me they were shut. With other people coming to meet me it was a scramble to notify them and find another place to go.

A group of us had lunch recently and jeezus it was a poor effort from the kitchen, everyone ordered different items but equally dissatisfied. Prices didn't match with the food. Chef either had a bad day or took the day off and the gaming staff took over, similar chances ensued. Wish Gordon Ramsay turned up!

Xmas lunch her was great for $100. All you can eat, cold and hot food. Plenty of seafood. Only disappointment was the deserts were awful. Not one person on table liked any of them. Comment over counter was they were all made the day before. It was very busy, but they had abundance of staff. Very busy, very full, had to move. Made it awkward for the older people. But, plenty of good food, plenty of good cheer. Staff were very helpful. Must say, one staff went out of her way to pack a home lunch for one, who was unable to attend due to illness. Great job, considering place was packed.

Chicken wasn’t cooked properly and food had no flavour.however, customer service was very good with getting us new food.

WOW talk about disappointed, heard all these adds on triple m radio raving about the Lockleys hotel so thought I'd drive 30 minutes from home and take the family for a meal. (Insert disappointed grown), overpriced, undersized and tasteless. I'm not even going to menchin staff that look like they would rather be anywhere else but at the Lockleys, a little smile with service dosnt hurt.over all experience, wasted my money and time.

Great time. Excellent staff very friendly and helpful. Food was great and competitive prices. Looked after the kids and the fussy eaters. We'll be back.
