Lobethal Bakery - Mt Barker Branch

Decent bakery. Rolls are a tad overpriced but satisfying. Pastries are pretty average at best, if that’s your thing you’ll be right at home here.

Pie tasted like sea water there was so much salt. Sausage roll tasted like what dog food smells. And the way the attendant spoke with impatience to the 90 year old man. Well, put a smile on your face if your going to talk to someone with money in their hand.

Had a late lunch at the mt barker bakery today. Fast amazing service. Brought the hot drink to the table but only sugar free drinks in the fridge was Coke Zero. Really need another choice other than coke. The pies were delicious, lovely firm pastry. Pastie was nice, lots of pepper inside. The sweet treats we’re fingers licking good. Very cold near the door so next time will sit further away from it. Very happy though and will be back.

Good choice of Bakery items and savoury rolls with salad, chicken, avocado etc.
Nice enough place to sit for coffee and eat more Streusel!

Can't top the spinach and ricotta quiche and chocolate donut from here on a rainy Sunday

Don't get coffee - it is undeniable. The coffee tasted burned and the milk was scalded. One sip and we poured ours out. My daughter had a doughnut she said was delicious.

Always Great products venue seems lacking in personality & warmth maybe more plants inside & out.

Popular place for lunch. Always busy. Great rolls and a good range of hot and cold bakery items.

Good location, nearby parking. Seating inside. Good selection of delicious treats. Tea and coffee including alternative milk options.

The pies are delicious. The coffee is the best in Mount Barker and the staff are always friendly.

Such fresh and tasty food love going here. Still great fresh food every time. Consistently good quality food.

I go to Lobethal Bakery usually every two weeks. The food is yummy as well as a good coffee. The staff are always friendly.

Unfortunately I found this bakery to be mediocre and a tad over priced for being mediocre. I don't understand how a bakery can play it overly safe in this day & age. Not much of a selection. Service was polite, but the place lacks atmosphere, perhaps a bit of low key music to loosen it up in the premises? I suggest management go check out Bradley's bakery at Christie's Downs.

This bakery doesn't know the difference between ham and beef. 5 times in 12 months got orders wrong. Good food there but I'll be trying other bakeries in the local area from now, on the chance my orders will be correct the first time.

We got a bad experience as we got meat pies instead of the vegetarian ones that we wanted. We were well on our way to Robe when we found out. They never replied to my message. So a 1 star for service.

Expect a serious review, really not happy about some of the situations involving this business and employees.

They have delicious pastries, pies etc. The grandchildren love the fresh cheesy rolls and pretzel roll especially. It was no trouble for them to make a fresh turkey roll to my specifications.

This place is always worth a stop. If it's not for Brekkie or lunch, it's gotta be snack time. I'm sure you'll find something yummy and the perfect drink to wash it down with here. Sit inside or outside, you choose. Both are lovely and worth the rest break

Nice location of a good bakery. Not in a seemingly busy location, but it's been fairly busy each time I've been which has been during the day on weekdays.
