My Wife and I moved in here nearly six years ago, and for awhile we were very keen to do our bit, and volunteered as Ambassadors for a couple of years, but after becoming disillusioned when things started changing. Firstly they chopped down our lovely avenue of trees in the entranceway, which by the way was what drew us into the village so they could narrow the road, and build more houses. Then we approached Management about the frontage of our Unit, which is quite unsafe, and here we are four and a half years later, and still they will not rectify it? The pavers on the walkway are only glued down, not cemented, and in the warmer weather the glue loosens, and sometimes they can cause problems if anyone walks on them! We have approached Management dozens of times about this, and they keep giving us false hopes!
We have spent about $60.000 on our Unit making it as lovely as we can, but feel extremely disappointed by the lack of feedback from Management? I even sent an email to Jason Sacks, our national manager, asking for support, and he did not even respond to us,
The latest decision they have come up with, is to build another twenty or so, Units in the Village, when we are already overloaded. We Have a swimming pool supposedly suitable for our residents to use, all 360 plus already, when it can hold about 12 to 15 people standing, definitely not doing lap swimming? All the areas in the Village are now overcrowded, and it is just like a housing development, not anything like when we first moved in!
We have tried very hard over the years to make it as nice as we could, the Residents are amazing people, and as we both say, - this is what makes the Village, definitely not the Management!

Corrupt management, gouge you for every cent they can. Don't buy into any of these places. That includes Living Choice Fullarton which is probably worse.
Note the spiteful comment from LC below. That's why I use a pseudonym.

We moved into our Viceroy villa 15 months ago and feel very much part of the community. We take great pleasure in giving friends visiting for the first time a tour of the village and showing off the auditorium and facilities. The friendliness of the people here is obvious to our visitors. “ Do you know all these people? “ “ Not all of them, but you don’t have to, the smiles say it all “.
The range of activities provide a great choice for all and Happy Hour on Fridays is always a highlight.
A wonderful busy group of people from the social club facilitate an incredible amount of functions.

The Wellness centre provides visiting specialists, and there is a permanent hairdressers which also appears to be a social centre of it’s own.

This is a place for being happy.

Hi just saying that Bryan and I have been in the village for 20yrs. We have always been treated fairly with living choice retirement village. We have made many friends here and it is great to have people around us at the same age as ourselves. Do hope other folk will come into our village and have a look around and see how nice it is Jen. And. Bryan. Hawkes

Appalling treatment! Pay a great deal of fees to live there in maintenance fees and when something is needed, too bad.

The loss of green space over last couple of years is not a good trend.

Open space makes people happy.
