Little Ban Ban reviews
26Had food here for a while, but it's recently been going downhill in quality. They have recently been Halal approved but offer no substitute meat for those who don't eat Halal.
I’ve come to ban ban on multiple occasions and upon today’s visit I’ve finalised my rating.
My first time at ban ban was amazing, the wings were juicy and flavorful. However the quality of the food for the next few visits along the months really went down. The sizing of the wings became smaller and sometimes would still be a little pink in the middle.
I’ve tried to give them opportunity after opportunity to see if it was just the one occurrence but unfortunately it’s not. It’s been consistently bad. Today I got the cheesy corn in a cup dish and the corn was still cold in the middle. It was obvious it was made with frozen corn topped with some melted cheese but for $10 that’s atrocious. The portion was small too and I felt sick after eating it cold. However because some parts were cold and other parts were warm I couldn’t show what spot was cold. Don’t think I’ll come back again. Staff aren’t even warm or greet you properly anymore. The quality really degraded it’s disappointing.
Mediocre chicken, the fried chicken wasn’t crispy nor juicy, it’s just so average that it’s absolutely forgettable
Nice convenient place in Rundle Mall. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food is good but the sauce I tried (secret sauce) was a bit too salty for me.
Little Banban is one of my favourite takeaway shop in Adelaide CBD. One of my personal favorites is the chicken wing rice box, which comes with 5 flavorful chicken wings, rice, and a side of coleslaw. The plain fried chicken is already scrumptious on its own, but you can also opt for their tasty sauce (for an additional cost). My top recommendation is the sweet and spicy flavor—it adds an extra kick of flavor to the already mouthwatering chicken.
Must try: 5 Wings rice box
The food didn't meet my expectations, it was mediocre at best. I have no intention of coming back.
They do the smaller sizes for the boneless fried chicken and the umami fries tastes more plain than I ate before. A bit sad for the chicken as the sweet and spicy sauce tastes different. I’ve been eating here a lot, my favourite spot but now it’s gone.
Had the boneless chicken rice pack which was a fairly large portion, a lot bigger than I expected. Chicken was beautifully cooked, crispy on the outside and tender inside. Came with rice and Coleslaw, I had a side of kimchi which went perfectly with the rice, and side of secret sauce on the chicken.
Will definitely come back again:)
We hopped in for a quick lunch.
The loaded fries were a bit salty.
The chicken wings with secret sauce were yummy.
I have eaten here a handful of times and absolutely love it—the menu has lots of wonderful options, all the food i’ve tried has been excellent quality and tastes delicious, and so far i’ve had nothing but efficient and friendly service! Definitely can say this is one of my favourite lunch spots in the city:)
Been here a few times for the vegan fried chicken and it's really good with the soy garlic and vegan mayo! Vegan dumplings are also nice
My experience with ordering from door dash was poor at best added a comment to get the all famous sauces they offer when you go in but when ordered left with a silly note on how door dash advises them not to supply any sauce for chicken? I do not get it
I discovered this place while shopping at the H&M food court and bought a fried chicken sandwich. Its tasted fresh, and each bite was juicy and delicious.
Toppoki in a cup was sour and hard (as per photo). Lady serving wasn't happy to give us refund. They definitely need to focus on the quality of food they are serving.
They gave me a bad experience. I ordered chicken by Uber eats and they canceled order without any notice. When I realized that by Apps and ask them to why it happen. They answered that not their's problem. But they reported to Uber app that they can not get another driver! Wow. U guys told me that you sent it already to driver and have no idea about how is going? Who is liar? Thank you for ruin my times and plans.
Catch up on posts from weeks ago: post lunch snack / dessert at Little BanBan @banban_adelaide in Rundle Mall. The self serve softserve ice cream is delicious. Always love a good softserve! The green tea one is better. The honeydew melon flavour was slightly watery and didn't hold its shape very well. But the taste was still very good.

At peak times the wait will be quite long. Overall, fried chicken is very appetising and its cheap. Sometimes chips portion are small.
Consistently flavorful crunchy Korean Fried Chicken. Not always Quick and convenient though. The great friendly service has slipped since the opening.
Chicken is very crunchy and the Unami chips are flavourful. They do soft serve for $3.50 and it’s yummy.
Yesterday I ate there & I was disappointed, Portion got smaller & price higher.amount of rice & coleslaw was so little! I found only two pieces of corn & literally two slices of the onion in it. I was kinda shocked & surprised!
