Lions Park reviews
11Good little spot to stop on the way in for a breather.toilet usually quiet and reasonably clean
We stopped at Port Augusta to stretch our legs and use the toilet my granddaughter played on the equipment
Can't complain,
Nice park,
Clean play equipment,
Decent sized parking.
Perhaps a little more shade would be good.
Excellent park and great place to stop when travelling with the kids. Closely located to fast food places, clean toilets, great place to have a run and play after a car trip. Always seem to be people here but enough room to enjoy the shared space.
Cute little park with basic little kids play equipment. Nice green grass though. Has bbq facilities and seating areas that are undercover.
Great opportunity to let the kids out and burn off some steam before continuing on your journey.
Great for the kids to run around and have fun, only downside is that its near the main highway into town
Clean public toilets, great for a short break when travelling with kids. Close to fast food options and playground with lots of space for kids to run around.
Public space, adjacent to the main Highway through Port Augusta.
Features a large, well-maintained, grassed area;
Several roofed areas with tables and benches;
A barbeque area;
Public toilets; and taps with water.
There is both on-street and off-street parking adjacent.
A very pleasant place for travellers, or those with families, to visit for a picnic-meal.
Highly recommended.
Since December we have been traveling earlier, allows baby to sleep the first part. Getting to this Park to walk the dog, got my own poop bags, between 8am and 10. Today was 8: 40am to 9: 05. TOILETS NOT OPEN. Not open in December. 3 return trips January, 2 returns in February. All arriving after 8am, half closer to 10am.
A Council Employee went to them after some street sweeping, about 8: 50. Annoyed and puzzled why not open.
Good Park to stretch the Dogs legs but useless when Toilets still locked up AFTER 9AM ON A WEEK DAY!
A great little playground here with access to water and public toilets. It's also across the road from McDonalds, so you can grab a bite to eat too and eat it here while the kids play. Great spot to stop if you're passing through and want to let your kids stretch their legs. The play equipment is pretty good with a great shade cloth over it so the metal doesn't super heat up in the hot Australian sun. There is also plenty of room to kick the football too. Really is worth checking out on your way through.
