77Food was ok. Although the entree came out after the mains. Salmon came out whilst the rest of the people were half way through main course. Waitress did apologise, not sure what was going on as not busy, staff struggled to even clear tables once meals finished. Sorry, but not worth a re visit
The salad bar was a joke.
Meals very ordinary.
Our Dessert order was misplaced.
We took a relative visiting from interstate.
Not expecting our dinner to be of such a low standard, Having been there many times over years with visitors
Will not return
We had a booking for 19 people, went to start to order, only to be told they didn't have any chips. Most of the meals come with chips we were told they only had sweet potato chips. We were disappointed after speaking to the duty manager, that they hadn't taken the Initiative go to local supermarket and purchase a couple bags of frozen chips. I Was told that's "not how it's done " So we called the Seaton hotel, checked they had chips. They did, so we all got in our cars, and had a very enjoyable evening, complete with Chips. Very disappointing service. Kid area smelt of urine and needs a good clean.
This hotel is one of the saddest premises I've had to stay in.
The outside of the building was suffering from sheer neglect. Planking falling off, a dirty building and the access road? At the rear was full of potholes.
When you entered the room there was a very distinctive smell was was (initially) hard to identify.until you looked closer. The place was riddled with salt damp.
Indeed, the upper walls in the bathroom had pealing paint. Bathroom accessories had fallen off the wall and they hadn't bothered to put them back on.instead they screwed them onto the back of the door. The small shelf above the bathroom basin was tilted forward and anything you placed on it wanted to slide off.
The building and the room were so old that they still had the old bedside built-in shelves that used to hold the old telephone on the top and the telephone books just underneath. I can just remember old motels that had that sort of furniture - but barely.
You are unable to read in bed because there are no bedside lights. The actual light fittings are there but no globes. Therefore, you have to get out of bed and walk to the nearest wall switch to switch off the overhead light.
Be careful when you sit on the bed (or lie on it). It's a frightening experience! You'll swear you are about to hit the floor.
Bedside power points are located (almost hidden) under the old telephone shelves.you have to *really* look for them. Initially, I couldn't locate them, and had to walk to the receptionist to ask where they were.the lady didn't know so she supplied me with a long extension cord.
Tea and coffee etc were supplied in those little packets along with paddle pop sticks to stir your beverage. No spoons.
You are still expected to pay over $100 for this extravagance. The real price should be around $50!
You are issued with a voucher upon booking in which enables you to two free drinks however, it's a bit of a con, because you can only choose from the beers on tap and the house wines (red and white). I choose the red house wine with my meal and got served with two fingers of red in a tall glass.
This disclosure is not the place to go into detail of the under cooked Roast of the Day" or the attempt at a desert of "Eton Mess" (many of which I had experienced at boarding school). It was nothing like an Eton Mess. Suffice to say, the small two fingers of red house wine had to fill me up.
I gave this dismal place a rating of 2 stars but that is only because they supplied sheets and pillows.
I suggest you stay somewhere else and don't bother with the dining room/bistro.
I would love The Links to check the food quality my Schnitzel was very average and my friend Parmy was burnt on the edges, disappointed again
Had roast beef was very dry, mostly outer pieces. May have even been microwaved. Left on plate. Place not busy.
It was a very nice bar to visit and complimentary drink with your room. Unfortunately, I was not too comfortable with the cleanliness although really it was fine for the evening. The room was not well insulated but they have a heater/aircon you can turn on that works great!
Very ordinary, and the weekend manager was very rude, and the food was terrible, and the rooms are not cleaned properly
My wife and I, our daughter, son in law and grandkids stayed for 3 nights, my wife took an extra towel as there's usually one per guest. We showered the first morning, left all of their towels in the bathroom & left ours in our bedroom, got back after dark and discovered the staff had taken all the towels including ours, reported it and was told they'd look for it in the morning but FORGOT! Also forgot the next day eventually on departure were told they'd find it and ship it to us. 10 days later no phone call, no apologies, no towel!
Very nice settings, nice food at good prices, helpful and friendly staff
Good set up for children
Definitely worth a visit
Great place to stay, staff go out their way to make your stay pleasant & special thanks to Matthew for helping me find another hotel for one night as family in hospital. Fully recommend the hotel n bistro
Good food cheap beer, probably come here once a week. Great happy hour and good snitzel. And, I just found out it has a playground, great for the kids!
Great atmosphere and service is awesome I was there on a Friday night at a poker game APL host was alot of fun
Great place. Close to the Adelaide airport and a short drive to the city. Free onsite parking with close access to the room. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bar and Bristo available, but note the kitchen closes at 8.30pm.prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly and helpful too.
It's OK for the price, I liked that I could park the car at the door of my room, you don't find it fancy but remember that matches the price you pay. Only negative point was that handwashing sink had separate valves for hot and cold water, a design of over 50 years ago.
Meals were great. Staff very friendly. Love having eightball to play and keno. A few pokes was ok but im not much into pokies. Theres a nice area for smokers providing its outside of meal times.
The kids playground area inside is an absolute bonus whilst waiting for meals when have my 3 year old grandson along.
Nice to go for lunch just with partner and have a coupla games eightball.
The pokie room has been refurbished and looks a lot better, the staff are the same helpful staff and the facilities were clean as usual!
The only disappointment was I lost on the pokies!
Got the ribs and wings friendly staff, decent price delicious food. Couldnt ask for more out of a night.
First visit
We arrived a bit later as we were unaware of their times. The staff were very obliging & food was a good standard considering our later arrival.
We will go back
I have never been more disgusted, I phoned to enquire for my Intellectual client who has portion control struggles along with autism about the possibility of ordering from children's menu only to be refused, life poses many challenges for my dear client. NON INCLUSIVE very rude over the phone clearly not your target patrons. BIG THANKS To MANSFIELD PARK very INCLUSIVE and great service.
