Levi Park reviews
65Great place for the family to come has accessible pool and a lot of options on what to do in the kiosk area. Definitely worth coming
This park was great with amazing facilities, the large middle kitchen to cook, eat and wash your dishes after made a fantastic place for families to get together for a BBQ and it even had a TV on the wall that kept the kids happy. The cabin we had was clean and comfortable and great in every way except there was no storage for food so we had to leave it on the counter top. There were only 2 knives and forks for a 4 person cabin (I am guessing these have been pilfered by prev guests. We also couldn't sleep in the bed as it sank down almost to the floor (Just not firm enough, but the sofa was) Talking to others there they had no problems like this so I think it was just a bad/unlucky choice for us. All over Levi Park is brilliant and I would reccomend it to everyone I meet.
The owners are helpful, kind and caring. People staying there are lovely, the place is like an oasis in amongst the urban jungle.
This caravan park is right under the flight path to the Adelaide airport and they NEVER stop. This is something they don't advertise. As an added negative while we were there for 3 nights there was construction works being carried out in 2 different parts of the park. We would never stay there again
The location is great and the staff kind enough, but the sites for the campervan are WAY TOO small. There were tradies on duty, so it was noisy and confusing. The pool and the kitchen are a plus but the toilets a lil old dated.
Friendly staff Much improved park great Campkitchen Let's just hope people respect the place and keep it clean. Nice to see garden getting cleaned up and shrubs trimmed. Can't wait to try the new Cabins on our return. Would recommend this park to Anyone.
This is a fantastic park, close to city and pubs for a meal. The park is very clean and the staff are amazing, highly recommend this place, will be back definitely.
One star they made our cabin all the way at the end
The money is not an equal service place
Really nice clean park and toilets/showers enjoyed our stay and will return on our way back through SA in a few weeks
A great overall park, clean facilities and amenities, well situated close to the CBD and lovely staff. We were at site 31 (ensuite) and had a wonderful stay. The Torrens River and associated walkway are easily accessible. Note, some roads, turns and sites are narrow. Beautiful birds! We heard aircraft fly over, though not disturbing. We will certainly return if in the area.
Be careful booking on line and paying in advance. We gave 3 weeks notice of cancellation of a powered site and forfeited the entire amount.
Spent 6 nights in the King William accessible cabin. Designed to accommodate wheelchairs it has a ramp, accessible bathroom and kitchen facilities. Brand new luxury. The queen bed had the best quality cushiontop mattress and bedding that I have slept in anywhere in Australia. Including top shelf airbnbs and hotels. Lovely pool. Helpful and friendly staff. Also beside the Torrens River with paths and cycle tracks.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Adelaide. Don't look any further. This place has got everything.
Exercise fanatic? Walk down at the back of the property and the linear park is right down there.
You can go anywhere from here at the heart of Walkerville. Very handy.
Very comfortable stay in Vale House and Botanic cabin, lovely friendly staff as usual, love this park
First time I stayed here did nothing but rave about how nice it was. This time left very disappointed on a lot of levels.
Consulted with park months in advance that there was a group of us, and they were more than happy to accommodate us at their park. Full disclosure of the amount of people were provided on every communication. Over 7 months notice was given and cabins were fully paid for 6 months in advance, but when we arrived, staff were extremely rude and didn’t even want to remove pool cover for our kids to use the paid for amenities at 4 in the afternoon (don’t believe it’s heated either as they certainly don’t want to pay to heat it).
Many people received completely dated and disgusting cabins - certainly not what was described and one smelt heavily of gas and when notified, staff completely ignored them! One cabin was leaning so heavily the door wouldn’t stay closed unless locked and ours was full of ants around the kitchen on arrival.
A small gathering in an area of only our cabins was rudely told by very aggressive staff to “go to bed” and “no noise at all” and “no socialising” at 9: 55pm on a Friday evening and we were asked to leave the next day… the entire group of which about half had been in bed with no idea what had happened. Honestly the low-flying planes constantly overhead were louder than us! We were told no refund would be given for our next two nights and were forced to pay for accommodation elsewhere… even the half of us tucked up in bed were not allowed a refund or an explanation.
Do yourself a favour and NEVER attend this park… it certainly does not live up to the made up descriptions and the managers just want the bookings and to not actually want anyone to attend their park. Our money was essentially stolen… and it felt very much like they have done this many times before.
Our cabin was excellent and we found the staff very helpful.
We highly recommend this park.
Great place if you want to be close to the city. Thats the only nice thing i can say about the place. Very dated amenities. 1 of the 2 driers was out of action for most of my stay. Staff were generally rude. Paying in full for accommodation for 6 weeks in advance before checking in is rude, especially when it is made quite clear that there are no fefunds. Confused about their 42 nights max stay in a calendar year. Seems like a rule that is applied randomly. And last straw today was a Staff member advising that he will call the police if I did not vacate the site by 1100.
Do I have to give them any stars at all?
The woman greeting us was very nice and helpful, It is a very convenient place for where I am as I’m close to where I want to go but not very happy with my cabin (Torrens)
Hasn’t even been the first sleep yet and so far:
-The shower door was broken but they fixed it straight away
- The kids beds which are small (Not big enough for a teen, which I am) are only sponge with a paper thin mattress cover and the only powerpoint i could see in my room didn’t work. The couch (where i’m sleeping tonight) is more comfy.
- some minor things, Gastop not facing the right direction, very thin walls, wifi not working.
- the service is still wonderfull, the prices of snacks are very good too.
The check-in staff was friendly, the area was very nice. The area is quiet.
The Heritage Room
=
The room and toilet were so so so dirty. A lot of hair on the floor, shower.
The room was so noisy. Running water and a toilet flushing from next door was so loud, can hear every single word that people talking from the corridor. Car parks in the car bay but not near the room.
I would like to stage again but won't be in the Heritage Room again.
