I had the best Banh Mi I've ever had from Mr Le's. I've been sampling the local establishments and this is my new favourite. Virtual perfection. The pork was succulent and delicious, the bread was fresh, the ingredients were very well balanced, and plenty of tasty butter and pate. My new number 1

Guys, they have the best banh mi in Adelaide. The crackling pork here is yummy! Love the pate as well not everywhere have this vital part

Probably one of the best Vietnamese food take away in Adelaide. Value for money. We always pop in when we go past.

I use to be a regular at this place. But it looks to be under a new business model, which is to charge more but give less. They have jacked up the prices 25-30% and also are putting in half the amount of meat and salad in the filling. Even the once great donuts taste like garbage. I wont be back.

Replying to owner response: I don’t care if you have to charge more. But why change the portion size and quality? Plenty of other option around.

Used to love coming here, until I established that some staff have a negative bias towards white-australians, and will treat you accordingly. I started getting flagrantly overcharged (even if I paid in cash) by one female server, who makes you feel VERY uncomfortable & unworthy as she forcefully tries to upsell you a meal deal. This lady spitefully overcharged me numerous times if I didn’t get a meal-deal, and just ordered a roll by itself. I haven’t been back here in months, I doubt I ever will. Disgusting service. Portions vary, even if you ask for extra meat, as does the quality. Not worth it. I’m only writing this review because of the stellar service I’ve received from neighbouring businesses and eateries.

The journey continues trying as many Bahn Mi as I can over the coming months (as I have been doing) and add my opinion to the list - Today Mr Le's

Price wise to similar outlets with The Combo roll coming in at an even $10. The filling is generous, perhaps just a little less than some other places I have tried recently but the quality and flavour is outstanding. The roll itself had a thickish outside and less crumbly and a little chewy (which is a good thing and meaning you don't get crust crumbs all over you) and soft inside, A great balance overall.

Service is great in a well presented small store (take away only)

Ok normally I love this place. The 2 ladies up front have great banter and the banh mi’s are on point. But lately, something has changed. 1 of the ladies is not there and this new guy who is extremely stingy on the toppings is there all the time… The prices went up (fair enough) but the amount of toppings has dipped considerably and today I asked for a tiny bit extra coriander (because all she put on was 1 leaf and a bit of stem), the stingy guy muttered something to my server and then I was told it would be $1 extra! I declined, it’s unlikely i’ll be back when there are so many other good options that aren’t so stingy for a few pieces of coriander…

An excellent place to get Vietnamese take away. The food and the quantity as per the prices are value for money. Staff is friendly and very courteous.

Popped into this wee hidden gem whilst was getting stuff from Brighton Irrigation. Cant say enough about how good the place is, to beautiful lovely lasses serving you with big smiles. So when you think your having a bad day as hit a water pipe, you at least get a very friendly welcome and service and leave with a smile. The rolls for the Banh Mi are nice and soft, meat was perfect, i personally always ask for extra chilli and coriander. I also went for the meal deal and got a drink and donut. The donut was lovely and soft as well. Was goin to keep it for lunch but the smells were to tempting so morning break instead.
Always a stop for lunch when i head in that way for sure.

I have been going to Mr Lee’s since Fong opened his doors and let me tell you this guy knows his Vietnamese food, especially Bahn Mi- they are the best I have had in Adelaide and the lunch time line ups of teachers and tradies will agree. The fried chicken packs are amazing with the lemon sauce and such great value and do not get me started about the chocolate donuts and noodle salads! The meal deals are fantastic and very well priced and paying cash means a discount, good old fashioned discount! The service is friendly and very efficient. Go to this place.you won’t be disappointed believe me, Fong is a great fella and is doing a ripping trade with ripping food. Need to be more places like this in Adelaide.

This place was busy! I went on the first day after the Xmas holiday and people were queued out of the shop. Luckily, the staff are so fast and efficient.
I bought some pork crackling bahn mi and a couple of home made chocolate doughnuts. They are consistently tasty and quite cheap - we love this place. I wish I lived in SA and could have Mr Le's more often.

Combination banh mi had fresh bread, tasty pate and fresh, punchy veggies. Up there with some of Adelaide's best banh mi.

Very good value and excellent customer service. The meal deal with the roll, donut and drink is the best from this shop.

Absolutely amazing service.the lovely young lady with dripped out in tommy hilfiger serves me and my friend (she drives an MG) every time i come in and never disappoints.tried the pork bahn mi today and it did not disappoint.the wait in line was worth it.btw think your drinks fridge is broken Le x

You no longer have to drive to Hanson Rd for a good banh mi. The best in Adelaide are right here in Le's and nearby in Miss Banh Mi (which has vegetarian and fusion options ñ, but a higher price tag).
As for Le's- The pate, the butter, the well seasoned roast pork, the amount of filling and size of roll. You cannot beat this quality for the price.
