51I was order Thai fried rice it was really really not good can’t eat the rices seems like from yesterday. I won’t order again!
Really good rolls, but, for the second time in a row, there was no chilli in my tofu roll despite asking for extra chilli! I even asked the lady when she finished preparing it, and she confirmed that there was plenty on chilli in it, only for me to find none when I ate it. Slightly disappointed.
I ordered a Banh Mi (meat roll) with no chili and extra pate and it came with chili and no pate. When I told them there was no pate in it they said they never put pate and didn't even apologize for it.
Never again.
It's the first time I've seen a Vietnamese Pho with such a small portion. No basil, no napkins, no cutlery inside.
The owners are very friendly and the food is fantastic. An affordable, delicious and healthy take away option. Thoroughly recommend you give them a try.
Nice little shop on prospect road (closer to Regency). They have a range of authentic Viet foods, rolls, noodles, rice, cold rolls etc. I believe it's a small family business, and everytime I come I see lots of regulars coming in and out to pick up their lunch orders, and the girl knows exactly what the customer wants (if they're regulars). I usually order tofu cold roll, their tofu is marinated deliciously and it gives it a very juicy chicken flavour. They're a bit variable on what they put in my cold rolls, sometimes they include Thai basil & mint (which I absolutely loveee - refreshing af) but sometimes it doesn't (sad days for me). Nonetheless, the sauce makes all the difference and I will still buy it. The foods are very affordable, and healthy, perfect if you're on a budget and still want healthy food!
Edit- since changing ownership their wait time has been terrible, had to wait 25 mins for a banhi recently and their tofu was no longer tasty or marinated. Was bland. All the filling was bland and tasteless. The cold rolls were wrapped so poorly. Customer service was terrible, little young girl at the front serving very slowly.
Amazing roast pork banh mi. One of the best in Adelaide. Right up there with Strawberry Fair. The steam buns are great, and so is the pho. Not the typical "combination pho" I'm used to, which is usually just different types of beef, but theirs includes beef and chicken, which is actually really good. The broth is amazing too. Highly recommend.
This is such an amazing find, they do everything from bao buns to Bahn mi's, to the most flavourful pho you'll ever have! This is such a hidden gem, located on Prospect Road just passed Regency road! The prices are incredible too, $2 for a can of soft drink is insanely good!
The rolls here are one of my favorites in Adelaide. They just seem to nail it. To bad don't live close to them. Worth making the effort if close by
Great Bánh mi! In fact one of the best I've had on Prospect Rd. Staff friendly & efficient, competitive prices
Lemongrass bahn mi with chilli is amazing and authentic, and at $7.50 is great value! Fully packed with fresh ingredients and the best flavour! Staff are pleasant and service is fast. Seeya again soon!
The banh mi here is LOADED! A fresh crispy baguette and a tonne of filling, super good value! Friendly service and a couple of combo deals which include a dim sim or spring roll. Found me new favourite banh mi joint in the area - so yum!
Delicious food And very friendly people! We took 2 entree, 2 mains and 2 drinks we were really surprised for the price! We recommend this place and we will come back!
Service was super friendly; the ladies serving us were very welcoming and polite. I ordered the cold rolls and asked for chicken, however it got mixed up and came with tofu instead, (I didn't even notice that it was tofu because it was that nice).
However the lady came out to our table, admitted her mistake, apologised profusely and was very kind.
Amazing service and reasonable price for a nice meal! Would definitely recommend if you're in the area and looking for a good Vietnamese option:)
Only place we could find open on a Sunday. So glad we did because rolls and steamed dim sims are fantastic!
Definitely be back soon. Yum!
I've lived less than 5 minutes from Lemon Grass and never tried it until this weekend. They were open even during the public break, good effort. The food was very good. High quality meat rolls, good level of chilli, good attention to detail. Good price and flavour. I'll be coming back for more soon. Try them out. Some of the best rolls in the North.
Tried for the first time today and definitely will be returning! Rolls tasted fresh and everything was a perfect ratio. The owner was also very friendly:)
Decent food, but have had 2 bad experiences in a row.
Last time I was there I could see my Vietnamese roll being made, and then left on the counter for about 10 minutes while they continued to serve other customers. After 10 minutes I asked them if that was my roll left on the counter, they said yes and didn’t even apologise for forgetting about it. So it ended up being completely soggy.
Great food, always fresh. Friendly staff. Cheap prices. Definitely recommend for a quick lunch, take away and eat in option.
The banh mi didn't get paté (I think the guy forgot as the next order had some) but my wife was happy about that. We also had beef and chicken pho which was also very good. A very made feel.
