You normally don’t go to the same place twice when you are travelling… but we did. Coffee is really good, but their food is even better.

Incredible, a must go to! The french toast I had was just sensational. All the flavours, presentation and freshness is just spot on. Everyone's dishes at the table were what you would expect for the price and the coffees made with great care. I can't wait to get back again for the croissants.

We had breakfast this morning at this lovely French cafe. I had the chefs special of gravlax salmon cured in betrothed with poached egg and caviar with their amazing bread-best dish I’ve had in SA. Great coffee too!

Twelve years I move from Switzerland to WA. Had the opportunity to taste good quality french pastry but this one's were sooo good. Better I don't live in that town I would be every day there.
Thank you for sharing your "savoir faire"

When we arrived at L’Anse we noticed straight away how popular it was.
All of outside and inside full. We were greeted by lovely staff and she did find us a table as it was for afternoon tea.
The staff were absolutely beautiful and made us feel very welcome.
The pastry’s were amazing.
We noticed a lot of food coming out which looked incredible so we booked this time for breakfast and we were not disappointed. Once again beautiful food and beautiful staff.
I would certainly recommend L’Anse and if you are looking to have a meal it is best that you book.

Impressive. Beautiful food, very delicate flavor and the look of it is almost an art. We will be coming here everyday while our stay in PL. The staff were very friendly and kind. Thank you so much!

We were in Port Lincoln for 3 days and went here twice! Everything was delicious. Like EVERYTHING. The ham Cheese and croissant was probably the best one we've ever had.

Dined here today, friendly service, great product, good coffee, we even got take away and will come back before leaving town. These other reviewers complaining about price should be ashamed as the quality of the product was very high as compared to the price, perhaps they should go back to their 6 pack off brand plastic wrapped supermarket shelved goods as they clearly cant distinguish the difference. I also appreciated the interior decorating and the exquisite crockery, the attention to detail in the establishment was superb. Keep up the good work, you're raising the bar.

Round 2 better than round 1, we visited again and were equally impressed, this time pulled pork benny was outstanding.
Yummy.

Busy cafe at the time, recommended to book for seating. Great coffee and menu. We sat at the kitchen stool area where we can peer in to see the chef inside making the pastry items. Coffee is delish and the pulled pork hollandaise sauce breakky was yum!

We came to Tumby Bay especially to eat here and it’s closed for good! Just a few bits-of fittings left! Such a shame with no information signage on the shop we found you on line before we got to Tumby Bay I gave you one star as I/we felt you could have better informed folks!
We can’t wait to try you in Port Lincoln the photos look sensational

Stopped here on our drive through the town. Staff were very friendly and food was well presented however I was a bit underwhelmed with cleanliness standards. My partner found a long black hair in her food and we found water glasses were filthy + tables unwiped. Also thought the menu stating that no changes were to be made or requested was quite laughable considering the very high prices. I understand maybe during busy service can be annoying but if I'm paying $20+ for muesli (crazy) you think you would be able to request a small change. And expect no hair in it lol. I know these things are small mistakes but given the incredibly high prices you expect the best. Feels a bit like you are paying for simply "pretty" food instead of the best quality. Hope these things improve as would be nice to see a really top notch place in Tumby and I feel this place has the ability to become that. Thanks, John.

What a disappointment! We arrived at 11am, having prebooked, with family from Pt Lincoln. Your establishment was highly recommended after seeing your wonderful shots of beautiful patisserie. 7 coffees were ordered but the selection of pastry in you showcases was appalling. 2 Jam doughnuts a couple of caramel slices and 2 or 3 croissants. We had to order a few items after having driven 40 mins to get there. We spent over $60 for third rate products. Your marketing and advertising is in question, not was shown on your website. The staff, however were efficient and obliging. If you are open there should be some decent products to purchase. Could have gone to a local bakery in Pt Lincoln for better selection. Helen Coulson.

We had croissants, Portuguese custard tarts, brownie, cruffins, a muffin and vanilla slice (mille fuille). All of it was delicious and the croissants were just as good as those in Paris! Could even be better.

Disappointing. Lovely looking French style Cafe in a beautiful town. Few vegetarian options and NO flexibility in replacing items in their menu. (No discount requested by us) Didnt order any drinks as consequence.

The food was excellent, staff friendly. Perhaps a little pricey but well worth it for the quality. If you want to treat yourself to something a little special rather than a regular eggs Benny or bacon and egg this is the place to come. You deserve it!

Amazing experience, reminded me of when I was in France, genuine French food. The service was very friendly

Perfect little French cafe/bakery. Enjoyed a great breakfast platter and smooth coffee mid morning. Busier than I expected, so I'd likely book if coming in from out of town again.

Oh my God. I cried! Perfection!
These guys are meticulous.
The best breakfast ever.
Croque Monsieur with a perfect fried egg.
Such finesse.
Best vanilla slice
Best croissant
Best caramel slice
A jewel of South Australia if not Australia.
