Lamb Spit BBQ reviews
51 Oh my gosh!
What an awesome menu and the combos are a good deal too.
Sooo yummy. Friendly but crazy rushed team the day we slipped in.
Yiros combo was Devine (my pick and I loved every bite!)
The ab packs were okay
Yum yum. Highly recommend the yiros
Was my favourite yiros in pt Adelaide /semaphore until they turned me away at 10 minutes past 8. They have always kept no official close time and close relevant to how busy they are. The store was full of customers and seems like the casual staff just wanted to get home earlier on Sunday, I hope the owner sees this.
Was very busy at the time
Not up to its known standard
Was being smashed by delivery orders
Waiting times were much longer for physical customers
Came with my boyfriend and dog. He had the chicken BLT yiros and I had a falafel yiros. We got the 'doggy dinner' lamb mince for our dog. The chips were absolutely delicious and the food was perfect. The service was also amazing. Thanks to the staff working today!:)
Lamb yiros used to be spot on. Marinated meat, crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked bread. Chips were crunchy and seasoned well. Recently they seem to have lost their edge, meat was dry and seasoning didn't taste as good as it once did. Chips I got was way oversalted and lucky to get 1 whole chip, just shreds from the bottom of the bag. Really disappointed as I loved visiting this place. Hope they can get back to the quality they once had.
The yiros their is amazing. The chips are also really good. I have gone here many times, and every time I come, I enjoy it.
The Yiros was very nice but not really the best I have had - the girls looked like they weren’t having much fun and didn’t really have a good sense of humour and were quite serious. I would suggest lifting the smile factor and adopting some sort of energy into the place - otherwise a great potential with the food and location.take it from the public reviewer #1 ️
Both times we went in there the staff were really friendly. Food was really good too. Will probably come back each time we visit semaphore
I am giving them 2 stars for the Fish but Chips and Yiros were way too salty and the youngsters that work in this shop have very low customer service skills or they don't have any idea of what is that. No eating here anymore. I might go to the shop next door next time.
Yummo.clean shop, friendly staff, yiros meat not dry.great flavour chips amazing with in house made chick salt
If you like AB's that are a mouth watering experience! Then the atomic bombs dropped here will change your life you will leave with a full stomach and smile, the staff are very friendly.
I couldn't find a place that made ABs in my area till now and i'd rate them equal to any of the top 2 shops in south Australia! Might even be better!
Ordered 2 lamb Yiros and small chips
Said be ready in 10 min, went to shop in six min and and food was ready
Hot fresh chips but Yiros was cold and soggy. $30
My favourite place for yiros. Even the wrap is flavoursome! The lamb is beautiful and soft and practically melts in your mouth. The staff have always been so lovely too.
Was so sketchy of coming to this place due to the reviews but we really wanted yiros and we were in the area. I was so shocked, it was so nice, good balance of flavour, not overly garlic that had you hiding your breath after but still prominent. Chips were good, crispy and fluffy, my favourite.gravy was probably the only let down but even then it wasn’t bad, we still ate it. Will definitely be back for that yiros next time we’re around cause that was so good. Best yiros we’ve had in a few years!
The food was a 1 star but the service from the female manager was a minus 5, I am sad there is no lower then 1 star because she really deserved it
Rather slow service but friendly staff and good chips and gravy made up for the long wait and low quality fish.
I’d go back just for the chips and gravy unless.
We recently moved here and had heard great things about the Yiros. Sadly, our visit left us disappointed.
Yiros were cold, meat was dry and crumbly. Chips were fantastic. But with the main event being so poor we'll be giving our money to someone else next time.
Update 08/11: went in tonight, chips only. They've obviously been recooked.
Instead of the hot fluffy crispy snacks we got last time they were greasy, shrapnel.
Two out of two. Just bad food. We won't be back.
Chips looked good but we're gluggy. Yiros meat was overly dry and couldn't taste anything other than the heavily msg based seasoning.
For $13.50 I expected a lot. Served promptly and the yiros was ready quickly. Yiros was a good serve but I hated whatever that spice is on the chicken.
We used to love coming here but after tonight we will never be returning. Not sure if they are new owners or what but we had the worst yiros ever. Not only was it cold but it had no flavour also the meat was very dry, the only thing that was good were the chips. We left very disappointed.
