Laksa House reviews
44Didn’t try the laksa but a dry noodle dish instead. Not bad but I prefer the kway teow from Other establishments. #BeatTheGrind
Falsely advertising items on the menu. For people with DAIRY allergies or ANY allergies for that matter. It is not safe to eat here. - coming from someone who is allergic to dairy and had trust in items labelled “vegan”.
Great food, fair price big portions. Laksa was amazing, quick service and staff couldn't do enough for us as customers. Highly recommend
In a nutshell: Laksa was average, customer service disgusting (except for the male waiter who was polite).
Walked in and was not greeted at all by a woman who seemed to be the owner or front of house manager. Ordered my partner and myself rudely to sit at a specific table and told us not to go into the dining area at the back. I had to go up to the front counter to order as no one came to take our order. The woman who seemed to be the owner only treated non-Asians nicely which I found confusing as I had not done anything to offend her despite being the fact that my partner and I were Asian. Got up to pay at the end of our meal and she once again said to me rudely "copy? ", Probably to ask if I wanted a copy of my receipt.
Will not be returning at all.
Thank you to the male waiter who was polite though.
Very reasonable prices, and huge portions for eat in. Roughly $16 for a bowl of laksa easily big enough for 2, or 1 and left overs. The laksa soup itself was delicious and the chilli was really spicy, but the chicken and prawns were a bit bland. Service was good. Would recommend for a quick, no fuss dinner
Cozy place and food tastes like homemade.
My only comment is that I would prefer to have size options for meals. The dish was so big for someone with minimal ability of eating like me
Blatant false advertising. Lists options as “vegan” on menu but admitted to using evaporated cows milk. Disappointing and unprofessional.
Staff stood around talking to each other while I sat there without the offer of a drink. Got a little thirsty and a wee bit hangry.difficult to save me at that point. Not a returning customer.
I ordered fried rice but the lady who took the order delivered chicken rice. When I refuse the chicken rice she said that's what I ordered. I had to pay again to buy a fried rice. Will never come back again!
My go to place for when I'm craving laksa. Great service, great value for money. I will be back time and time again
Meal was ok. Had the chicken laksa. Was a bit tasteless but it's ok. Think there are different places that you can get better
The most “RUDE ABRUPT” and unprofessional treatment We have ever received from anyone in the hospitality trade. NOT AT ALL suited to the hospitality industry and need to change job to something more suitable.
Having seen a review we decided to try it and we disappointed because it was not as good as we had been left to believe We also got the feeling we were not wanted.
Absolutely the best laksa! Large serve, authentic and fresh ingredients. Service very friendly. Loved it.
Went here with a coupla friends for dinner, nice and quiet place with friendly staff. Chicken laksa was definitely good with the right amount of spiciness. Recommended for families and large gatherings
Excellent laksa at reasonable prices. They're big as well. I've not tried anything else here. I Plenty of parking out on the street. The service is good, albeit a little unorthodox.
Yummy laksa on a Thursday night. Lovely staff, although all the patrons got rushed out at 8: 45 because they wanted to go home.
Terrible food and service, been a customer for several years gone very downhill. Not coming back
The best Laksa in town (for that matter in Australia.and I've tried a lot of Laksa all over OZ)!
Food was not amazing but pretty standard and not bad by all means.and not that cheap for lunch special ($13.80 for hainan chicken rice) but I asked for some chilli sauce, they gave me fresh chilli in soy sauce and without telling me charged me $3 for a tiny amount of soy sauce with fresh chilli. I don't mind paying extra but I prefer to give business to honest people so I won't be back but good luck to you.
Great service and nice stuff! One of the best laksa restaurants I’ve ever been. Definitely recommended one.
