Lakeside Tourist Park reviews
49Facilities are kept clean but need fixing and updating, lovely quite location and close walking distance to shops
I don't normally review before I have left but this park is awesome, plenty of room to park van. Weather soso. Still nice not to far to town and plenty of places to have coffee and lunch.
Great quiet spot. The kitchen area was enclosed with a wood heater and TV and the usual kitchen amenities sink, kettle etc.
Large sites. Beautiful lake sites. Peaceful and feels like camping in the wild with amenities.
We love staying at Lakeside Tourist Park. The best Kitchen facility we've ever seen and spotless ablution block. Staff very friendly. Can highly recommend.
Nice location overlooking the lake however the amenities and surrounds not very clean or tidy. Camp kitchen definitely needs a thorough clean dead mouse plus lots of mouse droppings in the area so wouldn’t recommend using the kitchen area at all
Had a nice stay good amenities, powered sites were on the smaller side and no gray water drainage. Close to main street nice walk to shops.
The lakes next to the park were very stinking at times.
Easy access to everything in the park would definitely come back again and the owners are really nice to
Lovely setting. Functional camp kitchen if you need it. Filtered water also available in the camp kitchen at no charge. We stayed in a superior villa that was disabled friendly. Pretty dated cabin (except for the upgraded bathroom). Decent sized two bedroom cabin though. Cabin was only metres from the lake which was nice.
Have stayed at this park many times in the past but I think it's gone downhill. Whole park needs a good clean up, long grass around trees etc. I booked and stayed in a budget cabin and is was bloody disgusting. Horrible smell inside cabin, so bad I went to buy air freshener and disinfectant wipes as I did not feel clean. Thank god I took my own bedding as the smell was throughout. Cabin number 9 needs a major revamp or burn it down. No hot water to wash dishes and screen door kept falling off. Instead of replacing old vinyl, carpet tiles have been placed on top, so unhygienic. Never again!
Not a fan of this place, pay the extra dollars and get better, cleaner, working facilities. Mens urinal not working for 3 + day's, only 2 out of 4 washers/ dryers
working. No undercover outdoor area for smoker's. Some cleaners standards are very poor. Plenty of sites remained unused and yet wasn't allowed to move to get better cover away from high winds. I've been to a lot of van parks with a much higher standard of facilities and will make sure I fully investigate all parks in the areas i travel to before booking in future. Travel Auctions need to do a better review of parks before writing their reviews
Hello all well lakeside tourist park is a really relaxing and amazing park we loved it so much.we were so happy with our site and we were relaxed as soon as we set up our cub camper the facilities were really clean and relaxing with the music and the kitchen area and dinning area was great there u got to meet other campers chat etc.we thank the owners and there helpers while they were away so we like to thank u all for a wonderful few days
Only stayed for one night in a villa. Location good, quiet. Bed was comfortable, spacious but as soon as you walked in.bang, a very musty smell. Also, when I opened one of the bedside cupboards, it was full of dead ants.
We stayed in a two bedroom cabin and were very happy with it. The beds were awesome as was the water pressure. The shower & bathroom were a little small but managable. It pretty much had everything you need except for an oven. Even had electric blankets on the beds. Would definitely go back. Thanks for your hospitality.
Third time here at Robe in our own van, parked directly along side the shower block & overlooking Lake Fellmongery. A beautiful spot for a relaxing 10 days. The park is beautifully kept & well maintained. We recommend this spot at all times of the year!
Best showers at any caravan park we’ve ever been to. Amenities were clean. Park was quiet despite being there on school holidays - no loud noise to worry about at night.
Great park with lakeside sites, large sites, only one amenities block up a ramp or steps to get to. Basic camp kitchen.
Emailed about facilities. Received and an email three days later. Already booked and stayed at Robe Haven meanwhile. Pretty average.
Great park!
Huge sand pit and children's equipment.
Amenities were always clean!
Great location, not far from town or the beach.
Great park. No frills, grassy areas with shade & clean amenities, camp kitchen friendly staff.
