Lakala Reserve reviews
8Visited the reserve on a Saturday morning with grandchildren to go to the playground and feed the ducks. Cannot give a good review as the whole grassed area was very much need of a mow and was difficult to walk through without getting wet feet. Not a positive experience. However, do understand have had some very wet days making it difficult to mow. Hopefully will be mowed asap.
Great park for families, play equipment for children, dog friendly, lake with lots of ducks. Only drawback is lots of duck poo, so watch where you sit!
Large, lawn area with clean public amenities, undercover bbq, playground and plenty of parking. Lakes an abundance of bird life. Great for a family get together.
Nice little park with a playground, a picnic area and a pond where you can watch ducks and other waterfowl. There are also some big eucalyptus trees in the back that are a nice place to chill under. The area has a public toilet as well.
Lovely place to take little kids for a play. There is a small playground which is small kid friendly. Also lots of grass to run around on. The lakes attract lots of birds so the kids have fun watching them too. Very quiet and tranquil day out.
Beautiful little park hidden away off the main drag to victor harbour, lovely green lush lawns, seating-some under cover, BBQs, public toilets, small playground, lake, water birds, markets 1st and 3rd Saturday monthly, 9 to 2pm
Nice quiet park sitting around a couple of lakes. Lots of grass for the kids to run on and an adjacent play ground. Shelter area and BBQs.
Birds can be raucous.
Decent toilets.
Hosts local market some weekends, so worth checking schedule if planning a weekend family gathering.
Nice reserve, with a little lake thing in the middle, it has a covered free BBQ area which is quite far away from the playground and the lake. You have to really monitor your young kids as theres no barrier around the lake and has bushes covering it, so you can't see from the BBQ area.
