La Moka

My go-to bar in Adelaide. Great cocktails, fine selection of wines, and beers on tap are always changing! Friendly bartenders and great vibes. Also decent coffee in the day. I’d say its a hidden gem in Adelaide.

The waitress with the tattoos has a very toxic attitude. Apparently you can’t have a conversation with other patrons without getting threatened to get evicted from the street.

I recently visited La Moka and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The funky fit out and venue really set the tone for a unique and enjoyable dining experience. And if you're lucky enough to find it, the secret hidey spot upstairs is a real treat.

Excellent little bar down Peel Street - a cute lane full of small dining venues off Hindley Street.
Welcomed and shown to our table, the atmosphere was fantastic, despite the plethora of smokers. This little bar has a great alcohol selection with a specialty cocktail for ten bucks! Food was variations on a cheese platter/meat platter etc.and was adequate to nibble on whilst quaffing your booze.

Always wonderful. The gang & I spend an afternoon day drinking here every couple of months. Great staff, reasonable selection, lovely spot to while away a few hours. Haven't tried the food

Ps. I came back last month and another time 2 weeks ago. I have to tell that right now, I could change my mind and put 3 stars.
Something is wrong. The meatballs where not the same taste, really liquid.na! And the coffe was not the best as other times.

I am sorry but I must to be honest. The photo is from almost 1 year ago. Which is when I used to enjoy of my meals in here.

Great ambiance and cosy/ cool fit out. The coffee looks and tastes like it has come from one of those DIY machines at a breakfast buffet.

Great looking cafe / bar but very small and tight inside. We could barely get past the people sitting near the entrance to get a spot for three of us upstairs and then I kept being bumped with people coming and going. I need to mention how frustrating it is when the order taker at the till engages in conversations about social activities when there is a queue out the front door. Our breakfasts and toast were fine but the coffees were just warm.perhaps due to the fact we were up stairs.

Overall Cafe experience was good, it is a very cute little bar. Mediocre food and drinks.
I ordered the Egg & Prosciutto roll and to me it was average
My friend ordered the Avo on toast, was a good serving and presentation was okay but they took off the tomatoes as some were green.
We both ordered a mocha frappe even though it wasn't on the menu they said they were happy to make it and they were presented nicely.

My favourite coffee place for my morning commute to work, great upstairs drinking area. They sell pre packaged cocktails sets on their website of you enjoy any of them, as there's usually alot on offer.

Friendly and cute bar to sit and have a glass of red, a little bit on the pricey side but definitely pours a decent glass of fine red!?

Gorgeous little café that makes a mean hot chocolate! The custard crossiant was delicious as well, make sure to grab a napkin though!

After reading the last couple of comments about vaccination requirement, chose to go here and wasn’t disappointed to drink good coffee amongst vaccinated patrons

Supports discrimination towards those that are unvaccinated. Firm pass on this joint, would rather spend my money elsewhere! Poor form La Moka
