La Crema Coffee reviews
69Had lunch here yesterday with a group of friends. Venue great, food great HOWEVER it was 41degrees and the air conditioner only worked behind the counter and in 1 row of seating. There were coffee machines etc hanging from the ceiling when it would have been of more use to have industrial fans or another air conditioner to make the customers more comfortable during summer months. Even the table water was room temperature (hot). Very uncomfortable lunch. I had heard so many good reports about this venue but due to this very big factor during summer I was sorely disappointed and will not return. It poses the question about winter. Is there heating or do you freeze in winter as well as sweltering in summer?
My cappuccini were disappointing, not enough coffee flavour to cut through the milk let alone the complexity required for the best brews. I expected more because they are a roaster so had hoped it would prove better than the mediocre average shamelessly delivered around Adelaide. My vanilla slice was pasty and unpalatable. However, loved the venue and staff seemed pleasant so may be worth another try - but i certainly won't be going out of way!
Great place to chill with family and friends. Great coffee and we had a short tour on the small roaster room. We came back for the 5th time this year.
This place is a hidden gem off the back of south road, the coffee is delicious and we buy it by the bean to have at home. The food and hospitality is fantastic. Great place to take kids with a small playroom and ride on car. Highly recommend.
I have never waited more than 1 min for a coffee here, the beans they use are to die for and I refuse go anywhere else!
I've had a few coffees here. I'd happily go out of my way to buy a coffee from La Crema. Wonderful menu options. Give it ago.
Picky as I am, I love the LaCrema coffee! No wonder they've earned such good reputation, often when I say "Dog friendly cafe at St Mary's", people know exactly what I'm talking about. They also offer great barista courses and I've learned a lot from them. Boss Tony is one of a kind
Hidden at the back of South Road you will find an Coffee roaster coffee shop. Great environment and micro roast blends available for those coffee enthusiast.
Note, a large in Adelaide is a Jumbo in Sydney. I keep forgetting that.
Great coffee, excellent advice, personable friendly efficient service… on the phone and in person
First time in this great looking cafe and I was impressed, the coffee was delicious and the schnitzel roll was really tasty. There is a kid's room with a tv and a few toys for them to play with. I ended up buying 2x 500 grams of coffee beans aswell. I recommend having a look at this little cafe if you're into good tasting coffee as the roaster is very passionate. Apologies to the staff member I asked sugar for I didn't realise she was heading home but she happily brought me some anyway so thanks to her and all the great staff keep up the great work.
Our end of year dinner at La Crema was sensational.special thanks to Ocean, Brittany and the new guy. Great service and fabulous food. Thankyou
Had coffee there this morning.
$13.50 for a mug of flat white and a cup of flat white with almond milk.
Most expensive ever paid. Their strongest blend was not that strong. Nice atmosphere though
I never usually leave reviews but this place was amazing! Best big breakfast I’ve ever had, the coffee and the service was amazing too
Great coffee & quick bite spot. Kid friendly as well. Plus they do cocktails & beer. What more can you ask for.
A great family owned business who sponsors the Kenilworth Footy Club. Excellent coffee and the waffles are delicious!
This place treats their employees disgustingly. They employ young kids and pay them accordingly yet expect them to work as though they’ve been doing it for years. Then when they fire you they text you with awful grammar and no feedback. They treated my daughter like garbage and now she has no confidence to work anywhere. Disgusting! Just like your service and coffee.
Thought we would try this cute little cafe out, while passing through. We regret it now and will never go back. Rude staff - just a side note: we knew what you were saying - becareful when you bad mouth others infront of customers - we actually speak the same language obviously at the time you did not know. The coffee tasted disgusting - it was bitter, most likely it was over extracted. My husband also had the cheesecake, which at the time tasted beautiful, but we soon found a hair in it. Don't be fooled by the looks of this cafe it is cute, but that is all. Lucky for you our order was take away.
Good coffee and quick service. The large industrial style dining area has a good vibe and suits large or small groups.
While visiting Adelaide my sister took me to La Crema for a coffee. Wow, what a fantastic one stop shop for everything Coffee. The atmosphere was great, staff friendly, and the Coffee was sensational. We spoke with the owners who were so friendly and giving of their time.
Next time I am visiting will definitely be back.
Highly recommend a visit.
Thanks. Phil, Sunshine Coast
It's a nice place. They only had one vegan option though (Turkish bread with roasted veggies and chips). It would be nice if they had a vegan breakfast option - like a "big breakfast" (avo, toast, hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes, tofu scramble, etc) and a vegan dessert. Also, it was very noisy inside because it's such a big place - not their fault - but be aware of that if you are sensitive to noise.
