La Buvette Drinkery reviews
44 Came here for a work meeting. Didn't even knew it existed!
Small frontage and quite dark and intimate looking from outside.
Beautiful food and service. I didn't pay so I can't comment on value. Worth a visit.
Outstanding! I am lucky enough to visit France several times a year. La Buvette is on the money. You walk in and at once you feel as if you have stepped into a little bistro in Paris, Bordeaux or Lyon. Excellent tasting menu with a small selection of mains. Wine list extensive with nice range of sub $80 bottles, but opportunity to experience top shelf if desired. Creme brulee as good as Chez Paul Bastille! Well done to aĺl.
Super fun experience, the staff were very accomodating and friendly. Really enjoyed how they offer surprise mocktails to suit our taste which was very good considering we didnt know what they were going to bring us, the cocktails were also super delicious. Food was tasty and came out fairly quickly. Staff were very attentive even though it was fairly busy, coming to clear plates and asking if we would like anything else. The atmosphere of the place was such a vibe, but can be a bit loud since the space is quite small.
We had a family birthday celebration at La Buvette. Wonderful ambience, fabulous food and great cocktails. The service was excellent, staff went out of their way to make my daughter’s night special. Highly recommend.
Great place to chill
Food is delicious. We only tried the entree and dessert
The staff was kind and gave us the choices for the entree, dessert and drinks
The atmosphere was nice. The set up was more of a dimmed light
Excellent food. Would recommend.
Wine selection was good.
Atmosphere is upbeat. Dark lighting and packed in. Great for a group of up to 4 personally.
Would return.
Dined here with my girlfriends for my pre-birthday celebration as I wanted some good French food/vibe and La Buvette did not disappoint. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Morgan! From wine recommendation to free shots, everything was amazing! The only comment is that the steak was a bit tougher than my liking (cooked medium), but other than all the food tasted delicious (extra points for the creme brulee).
Highly recommend and will surely be back here, Merci!
Absolute winner. Great range of any drink you’re keen on. Knowledgeable bar staff if you need recommendations. Pricey but high quality.
Very busy for a Tuesday. If we hand not booked for drinks we would have been standing. Excellent range of French wines. Great atmosphere. Next time we shall and eat.
What a wonderful little discovery in the Adelaide CBD. Terrine and Pate are a standout with some beautiful beers and French bubbles.
Lovely ambience. Nice variety of drinks available. Food was yum. Reasonably priced. Would recommend a visit.
La Buvette is a great little wine bar with a great choice of wines available. This is a rustic chic French wine bar that attracts a classy clientele
Definitely recommend coming here, it was so cozy and the food was 10/10. Being French I really appreciated the bread that came with our meal. Highlight were the snails and the muscles.
Had a disappointing experience here on the 25/6. Booked for my partners birthday on recommendation from other friends, but on arrival was told that my booking couldn’t be found by a confused wait staff. We were then sat by the door, and had sparse service for the next 20 mins plus. Finally ordered a bottle to then be told they didn’t have that, and after waiting 10 mins for the second choice we decided to leave as the whole experience had been quite unpleasant. Seems like a great venue, just caught it on an understaffed and disorganised night.
A great place for a drink with friends. This French themed bar/restaurant has an extensive wine list and offers cocktails and mixed drinks. There is a small menu of mostly snacks and some bistro meals to have with drinks or as a supper. Fun and friendly.
Great vibes, close your eyes for a second and you could be in Paris. Wine list and menu to match.
Really lovely little bar. Just like France. Food was lovely staff very friendly and knowledgeable.
One of the little gems in Adelaide that you must visit! I always find an excuse to go back and never disappoint.
Food, service and cocktails are amazing!
Dominique always take the time to say hello/check on the tables and recommend the newest wines!
We came here after our waiter over lunch recommended as his favourite place for a drink. Bar hopping through the CBD this was our last stop and we couldn’t go past the French Onion Soup and our lives will be forever better as a result. Incredible, best I’ve ever eaten & a highlight of our night.
French theme drinkery that is worth discovering for a before after night relaxing drink and conversation.
