A great night having the chef cook your BBQ meat and veggies in front of you on a large hot plate. Food tastes great and the chocolate fondue over charcoal was wonderful. Nice atmosphere and very welcoming staff.

Thought it was very crammed not many ingredients to add and not a lot of space between food and chef’s

Would rather go to Ganghis khan Rostrevor

The staff here was so friendly, everything was clean and the food was amazing. They were very busy so remember to make a booking!

Very friendly staff. Great family business. Food is fantastic. You make it as flavoursome as you want. You select your food and then watch the chef's cook it.

Fantastic place to eat. Very different. Choose your meat. Pork. - beef - chicken or lamb. Choose pineapple - tomato - carrot or bamboo shoots etc. Add choice of sauce and they cook for you.

What an awesome place to eat. My sons and I have been coming here for the last 30+ years from when they were children. We recently came back for a family birthday after an absence of some years. We were thrilled and surprised to see the original owners still there. They are serving up the same brilliant formula of food at very reasonable prices. Fresh healthy food for mains. You choose what you want to eat. And watch it being cooked.
The 3 course special banquet is great and so reasonably priced. Banquet includes chocolate steamboat dessert.
I have just come back again. Just as special again.
Thank you for another great evening.

Something different. Love the food. I wish they kept and cook pork separately. Still food was yummy.

Have been going to Kublai Khan for years and absolutely love it! The food is always fresh and delicious. The 3 course victory banquet is great. You can go back for as many serves of main course as you want and can change it up each time with different combinations of meat, veges and sauces.

The staff are absolutely lovely and we are always welcomed with big smiles.

Hadn't been here for a number of years, decided to take the famy there tonight.

Not much has changed - its still all you can eat, the staff are all very friendly and the chocolate fondue desert (spiked with Tia Maria) is a winner with the kids.

The main difference since COVID is that the staff serve you (which is rather cool) but you still get to choose your meat, vegetable and sauce options.

Great place to go when you've got a fussy kids that all want different things.

Something about the combination of meat, vegetables, sauces and aromatics makes everything wonderfully warming.

Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Watered down sauces, line ups for food, filthy uniforms worn by staff. This was Blandness with a capital B. Absolutely nothing to rave about. Will never go again.

Very busy venue so reservations are needed to avoid disappointment. Several large groups celebrating birthdays. The "all you can eat" option had limited items for stir fry, but given the very reasonable price point i.e. $25 per adult, it was understandable. The novelty of choosing food items and having them stir-fried on the wood burning grill added a different dining experience. Staff friendly and they were busy clearing plates. I went out of curiousity and the experience and if you up for something different, try this place out.

Descent amount of options, excellent pricing for what you get. Good customer service. Definitely will be back.

Food was delicious and customer service was amazing but there wasn't enough sauces to choose from.

Food was too dry n bland if a sauce for topping was introduced to give bit of of moisture maybe it would have been better I didn't go for seconds took me ages to get first bowl down very disappointed n is taken my female mate to get her first dinner outing for her 45th birthday wasn't a good choice

I hate giving a low score but when we entered yesterday evening, didn’t know what was going on then sat down got our menu and no one came to us for about 20mins. Went to get the wait staff to come take drinks order and to tell us how the system works. Had 1 serve and left wasn’t a fan of the food and I’m pretty sure I got someone else’s dish from the one I prepared. I had no carrot in mine and mine came out with carrot ‍️. Just not my thing I suppose but others seem to enjoy which is good

Been wanting to find a nice Mongolian restaurant for some time and at Kublai Khan I found just that. The food was awesome, unlimited amounts of whatever you like in the buffet, at a very reasonable price and also very tasty. The staff were also very helpful and very nice! Will definitely be coming in often!

The best Mongolian BBQ in Adelaide!
We came in a little late but the staff were still so lovely and very welcoming. The place was very clean and decorated so nicely and very well lit! The cook was so friendly & even mixed in the sauce for us with his own recommended recipe, it was so yummy! Served with awesome homemade breadsticks and prawn crackers also. Very excited to come back again and try the desserts another time. Would recommend this place highly and is a lot better than Genghis Khan all around (better service, value, quality of food and environment)
