Krung Thep Thai adelaide reviews
42 Of all the Thai in all of Adelaide, this would definitely be my pick.
Enticing menu, very good value for money and flavours that blew us away.
We had the Prawn spring rolls, the Krung Thep chicken wings, Crying Tiger steak and the Pad Thai and found it impossible to pick what we liked the most.
Friendly and accommodating staff, efficient service and warm ambience.
10/10 recommend.
Poor service and alack of communication with tables and bookings. Quite sad as it seems like a lovely place.
This is the best. Got a banquet for 3 and it was amazing. It was quite expensive but it definitely is worth it.
Decent Massman Curry, fair price, meal was out relatively quick even though they were quite busy. Atmosphere and service was a bit average in my opinion but nothing too bad to mention, and likely due to how busy they were overall enjoyable experience
Took 2 hours to serve 6 people. An hour for drinks at the table. Green curry veg had 3 table spoons of small veg (i counted) and was LOADED with sliced Pineapple. It was a huge bowl of curry soup with pineapple. Didnt get the rice ordered. Staff didnt care when told. Spent a lot of money, and was given very little actual food.
Service was atrocious.
Never returning.
Very authentic Thai food - we were there a little bit early on a Friday evening and were told that due to the busy schedule, we were only given 1.5 hours to dine, which was fine as the food turned up quickly. The red duck curry was delicious and so was the Tom Yam soup.
Service was excellent. We were served promptly and the food came out quickly. The flavours were amazing and the food was really tasty. The seafood was a bit overcooked - the prawns and squid were a bit chewy and dry, although they were flavoured well.
Wow the barramundi was totally fantastic. Very nice clean space and overall great value both for the quality of the food and the portion sizes. Service very fast and efficient as well. The crying tiger steak was ok.
Probably an off day for one staff member, but they brushed over us when taking our order, their attention to detail requires work, because they missed one of my orders. Food was great but the service from that particular staff member was saddening.
Thanks to the staff member who apologised and offered to rectify it, wish you took our order.
An absolute delight. We haven't had a better salmon red curry in ages. The staff are very professional and friendly. I recommend them any day of the week and the city of Melbourne needs them to open a branch.
One of the best Thai restaurants in the city. We were a group of 7 and ordered the 'Feed Us' menu and none of us were disappointed. Looking forward to a few more visits from us
Amazing Thai food and service. The Feed Me menu is good value for the quality and quantity of food. Will be back again!
We read the reviews, almost too good to believe so we had to try it ourselves. Simply brilliant. Thai is it was supposed to be.
The difference between a great and an outstanding Thai restaurant is whether they steam their Barramundi.and oh my lord it was amazing.
Kids loved the drunken noodles with beef, as well as the salt and pepper squid. Vegetables super tasty and crispy.
Can't wait to go back again later this week!
Went to Krung Thep for a couple of times had no issues. However, last night my partner and I went there again ordered two meals Pad Thai and Drunken noodle. First, we waited for 35 minutes still haven't receive our meals, anyways, I was trying to be understandable and waited a bit longer before I asked the waitress. After we saw the group 5 received all of their meals before us. I politely asked the waitress can you please check if our orders are coming. She said ok sure but never came back to inform us! So after waited about another 10 mins the other waitress came and told us sorry the kitchen missed our order and that they will do it straight way. But it wasn't straight away we had to wait for at least another 25mins. Overall we waited for 1 hour just for TWO meals. When we went to the check out to pay for our bill, I was expecting them to give us at least our sparkling water or a small discount as we were unhappy and that it was their fault. Will never return there again!
The Massaman curry is a favorite of mine, the Choochee salmon is perfectly cooked. The Thai southern style fried chicken was crispy & soft all in the right spots. Flavorsome dishes, will definitely be back to try more dishes.
We went for family dinner had very fantastic night, best and delicious food with lovely customer service. We will visit again this beautiful place.

The best service) in Adelaide
Great entrees, interesting cocktails; but i always get a dud main. Roast duck was dry&overcooked; S&P prawns had no S nor P&when they brought seasoning that was forgotten-still had no S or P taste&only 5prawns (not that big) =$30-but they did give me half price4my trouble!
Sensational place to dine! Went with a large group, catered to our needs (one vegetarian and a vegan), amazing service and the food! Well safe to say, I'll be returning!
The food was good and that's the main thing but after ordering dessert the bill doubles in price so be aware of that. The restaurant is reasonably spacious with plenty of room between individual place settings and tables aren't too close together but as usual with these places the toilet is a pathetic after thought absolutely tiny with men and women entering and exiting through the same door. Land Lord's (or should I say slum lords) this is North Adelaide, an exclusive area you must do better. I expect to be reminded of Thailand when I've just paid $50 for my meal. I don't expect to be reminded of Thailand when I go to the toilet. Either renovate in a meaningful way and install spacious airy hygienic and attractive toilets or let someone else do it.why can't our next to useless government fix this all too common problem.
Exceptional service. Allan was awesome from the second we walked in the door. Great food, we had the Pad Thai and Green Chicken Curry. Curry was a little too hot for my girlfriend which Allan was quick to realise offering a solution by bringing out a little extra coconut milk. Nice touch
