Wonderful! Staff were so lovely and friendly, the food was exceptional and beautifully presented. The flavours were amazing! Love the decor also! Will return for sure!

Simply unpretentious freshly prepared foods, only limited by the selections and variety. But impressive range of alcohols which would appeal to the younger crowds, which sadly does not include me, lol.

Good effort by the young crew somewhat lacking in experience but made up by their shere enthusiasm.

Wednesdays are steak nights! Be sure to check their social media to see if this offer is still available. We’ve been there twice, once for their “feed me” menu and another for their steak night. Things we would order again and again:
Chicken meatball skewers
Broccolini tempura
Steak

Steak nights aren’t on their menu, only mentioned on their social media. Steak was juicy and done well. Be sure to make table bookings as this place can get busy.

We had a wonderful dinner here, service was prompt and friendly. The food was really nice, all cooked well and very flavorsome! Serving sizes were also very generous. Will definitely be back

Wonderful food and the staff is friendly and help us pick on some of the yummy dishes. Definite one of my favorite dine in restaurant in the area.

Went for dinner for Valentine's Day, we were told we only had an hour and 15 mins to eat so we ordered the 'feed me' straight away with two drinks. We waited about 25 mins for the drinks and about 40 minutes went by before I had to get a waitress attention to ask where our food was. About 10 minutes after (almost an hour into our hour and 15 minute sitting) we received three dishes at once one being dumplings that were raw on the inside. Given the ridiculous wait times and complete lack of communication from the staff we got up, paid for our half finished drinks and left. Though the young staff member was empathetic the Manager didn't seem to care at all, maybe some people aren't cut out for the service industry. Left hungry and got uber eats which arrived in 20 minutes. Absolutely unacceptable when you're spending $100 a head

Came on Valentine's and it was a great experience. Food was really delicious, and the service was fantastic, even though the restaurant was really busy. Would come back again.

Japanese Fusion at it's best for sure. A place for special occasions, it just if you want to spoil yourselves

Decor was very warm and welcoming, capturing all seasons. Very welcoming front of house. Allowed us time to digest both drinks and food menus.

Ordered several dishes upon recommendation by the amazing staff, plus a few selections of our own.

Flavours were out of this world. Single plates allowed customer to capture the essence of Koyo. Big plates were next level. Mouth watering Wagu Steak served medium rare. Melted in your mouth. Cauliflower… just wow… the Macadamia number was off the charts.

Wine list by Vinify, which means you are going to get a great range of wines locally as well as abroad. Settled for the Rainbow Rosé which was perfect for the cuisine.

Service was so on point! Allowing enough time for conversation to flow. Well informed staff, recommendations were appreciated.

Will recommend and be heading back soon.

Amazing ambiance, great food with great service. Staff is super friendly, and the food is well priced for what you get. Would highly recommend if you want to try something new in the area!

Great new Asian fusion restaurant, parking at rear or down Olive Street. Best to order a few meals and share, a little pricey but maybe that goes with a new and vibrant venue.

I recently dined at this restaurant and it was truly an exceptional experience. The service was friendly and attentive. About the food, the dishes were incredibly creative and delicious. Would come back again next time, and highly recommend for anyone looking something nice in this area.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. The decor was beautiful and welcoming, with a friendly and attentive staff. The standout dishes for me were the Pork Belly and the Sashimi Plate. The Pork Belly was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. Overall, this restaurant is an absolute must-try for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Will be sure to return in the future to try the other menu items.

In all honesty this was probably the worst dinning experience I’ve ever had.
My partner and I came for the Valentine’s Day dinner, three times they took our order, three times it didn’t make it to the kitchen. Forth time lucky I guess?
Overall the food was cold and bland with ridiculous wait times plus our desserts never arrived.
Not sure if it was just the Valentines night but we won’t be returning.

Just visit this place yesterday, it was a great experience for me to try an Asian-Restaurant like this. I was having a bad day back then, but i have to say the foods here were too good and it cheered me up alots. If u ask me what is the signature of this place, I will highly recommend "Dry Ramen". Not only dry your noodles but also dry your tear. Lovely.

Lunch at @koyo.adl: a pretty decent choice for modern Asian / Japanese fusion style of food in the Prospect area.

Tempura whiting fillet, preserved lemon mayo, black tobiko: this dish was excellent! Perfectly fried and good flavours.

Karaage tofu, black garlic miso, sesame seed: anything fried is good. I loved the miso sauce!

Tchashu pork jowl, satsuma plum sauce: very tender and nicely grilled.

Salmon sashimi, Mandarin ponzu, roasted pepper Kosho, fennel: refreshing dish! Loved the Mandarin ponzu.

Roasted seven peppers half chicken, charred peppers, coriander buttermilk: the chicken was tender and juicy. The sauce was tangy, and the chilli made it quite spicy!

Hokkaido milk flatbread, Korean garlic butter: I absolutely looooooved this flatbread! So fluffy and soft.

Tempura onion rings, tonkatsu sauce: can't go wrong with this side dish! Crispy goodness.
