Korean BBQ is not dead yet, especially at Korea Restaurant on Goodwood Rd. The servings are decent and the prices are fair.

Not my usual go to Korean restaurants. Pretty decent and reflect to its price and service. 6.5 would recommend to other. Give it a try tho.

The worst Korean BBQ I experience, never comeback here again. Service is so slow and the worst part is we wait 1hr for dessert for just one banana, a little slice of pineapple, half slice of apple and marshmallow for $18. Exactly 5: 30 we arrived 6: 20pm they serve the food. It's not Korean Restaurant.

Such delicious food and old fashioned service, a great place to visit for beautiful meal. Fun experience, as well as they make you feel special if it’s your birthday where the lights go out and everyone gets involved! Strongly recommend!

Went in for the korean bbq which you can choose to either have a meal cooked for you or you can choose to cook your own meal on the grill which is on your table. So we selected our proteins which theres a good selection to choose from which also comes with a bowl of soup to start with and then a selection of side dishes to go with your protein which you cook yourself which is fun. It was very busy that night so i would recommend to book a table so you dont miss out

Great food and lovely service. I've been coming here for years and will definitely continue to be a regular. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The quality of the meats are good. Definitely recommend getting the sets for the best experience.

It is Korea restaurant but It is not a “Korean” restaurant. Does not taste like Korean BBQ. This is the worst Korean barbecue, absolutely not. Ventilation is not good and messy ㅠㅠ

It was great as usual, however they could have used 1 more waiting staff but not too bad just had to be patient and easy to do in the atmosphere

Cheap price but terrible place for kbbq. In the name of pork belly, bacon was provided. One needs to pay extra for lettuce and despite paying for it, served with big lettuce leaves which is not apt for kbbq lettuce wraps

Don't be put off by the self descriptive name or the closed wooden front door and the pulled down blinds, this is authentic Korean. We had the self cooking Set D (Beef and Seafood) paired with Cass beer and Soju. The vegetables were tender and subtly flavoured. The kimchi was some of the best we've tasted, delicate and subtle. The beef and the seafood fresh and tender. If you're up for a Korean dining experience we highly recommend "Korean Restaurant".

Not real keen on the food didn't like the salads or cooking the meat on the grills

The food here is edible but needs more flavour in the bbq meats. The desserts were a hit and the ladies serving us are amazing

So bad service I’ve been coming here for past 20 years tonight was the worst very rude waitress bad, bad service not going back Steven we miss you.

Ive been to better Korean than this.
I Didn't like raw chicken, fish, pork and beef piled on one plate. Talk about cross contamination.nice kimchi but condiment were small and not adequate.
Won't do the banquet again.

Quite generous serving, price is very reasonable. Enjoyed their set meat selections. Service was awesome.

Location is a little more convenient than going into the city (from south). There is parking at the rear. The restaurant is ok, however, wife brings her own sauce as they don't offer much choice - I nearly gave one less star!

We decided to go here for dinner on a whim as we were having a drink nearby at the Suburban Brew. The restaurant was about 70% full and they were able to find a table for us. We ended up forgoing the set menu and went a-la-carte and picked the meat and vegetables dishes that we wanted. The meat had very little marinade so we could taste the flavour of the meat better. The kimchi and bean sprouts were very tasty and the flavours are reminiscent of home made food.

I love this restaurant but the servers not speak English well. But the food really affordable and authentic!

We did have a lovely time at the restaurant for my Mum's 79th birthday party. She loves K-drama so it made sense to head here and drink some soju and barbecue some food. The price is good, though we probably didn't need the dessert. The owner made it special for my mum by turning down the lights and bringing a small cake with sparkler - the whole crowd helped sing happy birthday. This happened at another birthday table, too, during the night. A very friendly, happy atmosphere that got a bit noisy at full capacity (which it was on Saturday night) but that was fine. Thank you, Korea team!

It had been many years since our last time at Korea Restaurant and our visit yesterday made us wonder we we had waited so long to return. It was at about 40% capacity, with friendly service and for the most part, quite timely. We both chose the "Special Banquet" which included soup, entree of spring rolls and curry puffs plus a marinated selection of beef, chicken, pork and seafood which is accompanied with a selection of side dishes and rice bowls. To finish, there was a chocolate fondue with banana, apple, pineapple and marshmallows. It does include tea and coffee but we weren't offered this - to be honest, we would have refused it anyway as we were so full! The food was DELICIOUS and the value was sensational. For just $33 per person, it can't be beaten. There are other choices on the menu and you can get Chef cooked meals too but we liked the fun of cooking the meats on the BBQ. We won't be leaving it for another 10 years to visit again. Highly Recommend!
