We have three knives and the magnetic wooden rack. Great craftsmanship and design. So easy to use and keep sharp. We had the opportunity to do the sharpening course and learned a lot about keeping the knife set. Great investment if you like cooking. We have spread the word by gifting koi knives as wedding presents - a life time of happiness in the kitchen!

These knives are just amazing. Beautifully crafted and so balanced in your hand, just a pleasure to use. Prefer these Koi knives over my old set of Wusthof knives. Very happy.

Absolutely delighted with the restoration of my Japanese knive. It was in a dreadful state with a chipped blade and a loose aged handle. It is now brand new, fabulously sharp and looking sensational. Am also enjoying a Koi Santoku which I road tested whilst my knife was being repaired. Cannot recommend high enough. Terrific service and brilliant quality.

I’ve been using my Koi Knives for 12 months and these are the best knives; sharp, easy to handle and great looking on my magnet rack! Brilliant!

John and the team at Koi knives are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Expect to wait up to a couple of weeks for knives to be sharpened, but thankfully they provide loan knives as part of their service.

If you have knives that are worth keeping sharp and safe, this is the place to take them. Highly recommended.

My partner has been watching an online cooking channel (and cooking almost all of his meals based on those recipes, so yum!) in which these Koi knives are featured. A request from him to possibly buy a set led to me getting them for his birthday and they're a massive hit.

Beautifully made and packaged (we ordered online, so haven't been lucky enough to visit the store), and the functionality of them makes being in the kitchen a joy. The support during the ordering process, and the care used to package it all up made it a first class online experience. Definitely recommend.

Been using my knife for a week and it’s amazing. Light, good feel in the hand and can effortlessly cut anything I put against it.

I've been meaning to pop into this place for a while now as it's just down the road from me. Met one of the owners who was amazing to chat to. We had some major life experiences in common, but also really enjoyed just talking "knife stuff". Left with a stunning Damascus Nakiri that I can't put down.

Their work radiates passion and craftsmanship. I cannot recommend the knife, the business, and the owners highly enough. My wife will hate me for saying this, but I'll be coming back here several times in the coming months. Thanks so much for a great knife and a great experience.

PS if you're a knife enthusiast, there is nothing else like this in the Adelaide Metro area. You can see every stage of the knives' manufacturing process displayed on the walls. You can play with the raw materials of the handle. You can see the billets of steel in their rough shape. You can peek through to the sharpening facilities out the back. These guys are doing what they love and it bloody well shows.

My wife had her knife for a month before she used it because she said the handle was beautiful and she didn't want to dirty it. Has been using it for quite a while now and absolutely loves it. Easy to hold and the sharpness is amazing. Realise now how much easier a good knife makes to everyday cooking.

Whenever someone comes over they always comment on how stunning my knives look. And they are amazing to use. Wicked sharp knives that look wicked great too.

Totally love the exquisite handles and the blades are exceptional as well.so sharp they cut like a dream. Total knife experience.
