Knots Kitchen

Had a family lunch with a lot of elderly people. Room was quiet enough for them to all hear each other. Food was delicious and staff were very friendly.

We had dinner with friends on Thursday 1 September 2022. The food was amazing. My husband and I had the scotch fillet with roasted vegetables and were cooked to 100% perfection. The team provided outstanding customer service. Will definitely, be coming back here in the future.

If not busy I prefer not to be packed into tables very close together. COVID related comment plus people being close enough to hear conversations

We are very lucky to have Lakes Resort Knots Kitchen close to our area. It is a beautiful place with a beautiful view. Been here countless of times.always had 5* experience of the service and food like laksa gyoza, arancini, burger, fish etc. The manager of the restaurant is the best, very friendly. Recently our experience of the service and new menu was not the best, my salmon was a bit dry overcook. Had this dish many times at home because I love salmon. The service from the bar was not pleasant, I was standing and waiting and the lady did not even look at me and as if I was not existing, (she was not attending to anyone) if she was busy of something else she could have said than not even look at the customer and ignore.

Had Singapore noodles was very spicy my mouth was burning, should come with warning, hubby had burger was average and friend had carvery didn't like it meat tough and veggies weird flavour. Onion rings were delish.

Nice roast, wasn't hot but luke warm, meat was good, not real tender but nice. Will order something different next time. Lovely location with view

Absolutely terrible, disgusting, one piece of fish overcooked, the other like rubber, waited nearly an hour.
I feel like throwing up.
Offered a free coffee. WHAT
Then tried to discuss it politely & got escorted out by security.
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

We go to Knots Kitchen on a regular basis but we were disappointed today.
The menu has changed and is not as extensive. Even though we had prebooked we were seated at a table hidden around a corner, where I think we were fogotten; we had to wait over an hour for our meal. We had to ask for milk to go with a cup of tea when they had said they would bring some to us when ordered.
And the food was disappointing.
If you want our future patronage please lift your game.

Absolutely love this place, the view and food is excellent. Great customer services too. Definitely recommend?

Ordered 5 meals plus garlic bread
All were less than average
Garlic bread came out after the mains had been served
Schnitzel with plain gravy was served with no gravy despite requesting it 3 times when ordering
Roast meal and a side of roast veggies came out 10 minutes after all other meals
Roast meat was sinewy and fatty
Waitress was rude and told us we had to remove our masks from the table as it “unhygienic and they would need to clean the table”. No pleases or thank you from the waiting staff
Very disappointing as this was one of our “go to” restuarants but not any more!

Good location on the Lake. Great table by the windows with lovely views. Good value for money. Friendly service

Had the big Breakfast and Pancakes both were fantastic. Coffee was great.
Dinner was perfect had the steak and the fried rice both were great.
Staff friendly service was quick. Highly recommend to others.
