Kiva Dojo

I’d recommend Kiva Dojo to pretty much anyone, everyone is super supportive and welcoming and all the instructors are professional and insightful. At Kiva Dojo you’re pushed just the right amount to achieve success, and I plan to go here for many years to come.

The worker Shane Neville often spreads misinformation about Covid whilst he is at martial arts. He is creating a terrible space for children to go and a VERY unsafe environment. I will never ever return here and I am taking a bunch of client with me to another martial arts studio who care about the health of our children. Shane Neville should not be able to teach and I will never ever recommend this facility to anyone!

Great place to take your kids or sign up yourself to learn martial arts and self defense. Very friendly and welcoming. Also very clean.

I have been training at this club for the past 6 years in both Krav Maga and Muay Thai. I cant speak highly enough of the knowledge that the club owner and head instructor, Shane, has in both of these disciplines that I train in and also Zen Do Kai karate. Great club, very family orientated and friendly. No matter where you go in the country you are always made to feel welcome at any BJMA club.

I have been training here for the past 6 years with my young son's. They both love the club and so do I. I would not have my kids in an unsafe, unprofessional environment and that's why we continue to train here. It's a family friendly environment with an aim on self discipline, learning and confidence. I'm glad I joined my sons up and myself, it's a decision I will never regret.

I have known of Shane Neville and the BlackWolf Dojo now Kiva Dojo since back at Lonsdale. His professionalism and focus has seen him and his Dojo grow to what it is today. I have trained there many times over the years, on and more off. His way with the children is exemplary as with his very own son and daughter. I am happy to recommend any parent and child to give him a fair go. The level of his discipline and understanding of child behaviour is great. I will be happy to send my adult children there and my grand kids, when I have them and they're old enough. Recently recommited to grading and furthering my skills and discipline to the art, and could not be happier.
Discipline and instruction is not for all, but Shane can make it fun to. You will come to LOVE IT

Me and my 2 sons have been members at the club for 2 years now, and I can honestly say wish I joined up earlier with multiple systems and age groups you can find something that will suit your needs. Wether it be self confidence, fitness learning to defend yourself or competition combat sports. The students and trainers are always welcoming and im proud to be apart of something greater than myself.

I've been with Shane Neville and Kiva Dojo for 18 mths. Training Krav Maga.

Here you'll learn all aspects of Krav from Striking to Counter striking, Both Defense, Attack and Counter attack from Chokes, Grabs, Knife and Gun.

Krav isn't about scoring Points or winning Rounds its about controlling bad situations very quickly and efficiently. In the street there are no rules. Krav doesn't have rules either, it has technique and method. When coupled with a wide and varied training regime headed by Shane we all train to turn technique and method into our way of life.

Everyone should learn and become proficient in Krav.

My initial curiosity has turned to devotion.
