Kirkcaldy Reserve reviews
19 A great park to bring the family in for a meal and to enjoy the playground.
The basketball court needs a refresh, but other than that it's a great place to spend a few hours.
Another delightful park made so much better as part of the Grange Lakes.
There are 2 playgrounds, a smaller one near the toilets. Off street carparks, Bbq, picnic tables and Trees.
But the main feature is the Lakes, this stormwater management system really brings nature to the park. Once the rains come and the water levels rise, it must be even better.
I really enjoyed walking around Kirkcaldy
Lovely park with a tiny tots and a medium sized kids playground. The former with public toilets. Grandies loved the pathway through the reserve for riding their scooters and watching the ducks from the bridge over the original, (Before West Lakes. Yes I'm that old!), Port Adelaide swamp feeder creek. Plenty of parking, some under shade of the old gum trees.
Great reserve, friend and I take lunch, drink to enjoy out doors, used by many, thank you Council for providing this open space and maintaining it so well.
A great playground for the grandkids. Lots of space, ducks to feed, a flying fox, 2 seperate playground areas with 5 swings and 2 slides set amongst a grassy tree-shaded area along Grange Creek - well worth a visit
Poor maintanance and always dirty. I would reccomend to everyone to go. Rubish everywhere around bbq area. Need more clean an hygiene facility. CHEERS
Great little park, play equipment, shelter, BBQs, open space and basketball ring alongside a river. Kids love it.
It was lovely and peaceful sitting watching all the bird life on the water. The ducks came up for a visit plus there is a lively little playground for the kids.
2 great playgrounds, a walking track, and the waterway where there is plenty of bird life and baby ducklings in the spring
A beautifully maintained park. It was lovely to wander along by the river and stop for a rest on one of the several benches they have there. Also a great play area for the kids, and I must admit I was a big kid and went on the swings. Loved it
Lovely reserve next to the river, ducks an birds, great playground parking area for few cars well kept just off Grange Road on your way to Grange Beach
Great place to go for a BBQ with the family. With a playground and a creek, it really is a place for kids. The ducks are a big bonus to the place.
Very clean BBQ shelter and the whole area in general was fantastic. Great place for a celebration.
Nice spot for a picnic and kids playground. Has BBQs and toilets 100m away. Plenty of ducks etc.
It seems like its been kept in good condition and up to date. It houses a basketball court and playground, perfect for kids but they must be kept under close supervision as the Port River catchment is 10m away.
Surprised to see this beautiful reserve surrounded by residences. Lucky people who reside there.
Nice Park. Couple of areas for the kids. There is a creek so make sure the kids are in view at all times. You can feed ducks here, so bring some bread or something you can feed them with. Toilets available but down one end. Barbeques and entertainment areas and seating also available with lots of shade.
A recent upgrade has improved the experience for the littlies. Bring some seeds to feed the ducks and go for a wander along the creek.
