The worst Sushi Experience ever, no welcome greeting that we would normally get when entering a Sushi Train.
We (3 of us) found our own table as no staff were to be seen.
We ordered through the QR Code that we found on the table, when our sushi was delivered it was just place on the table.
The Sushi (seaweed wrap) was dry.
I rang the service bell on the QR System, no one came over to us, we found our own table water tucked in the corner.
The only time we were acknowledged was when we had finished, even then staff member wasn't very cheery.
We will not be back, this has put us off from returning to this particular venue.

Food was very nice, only thought the lighting was a bit too bright.

Service was great

Options were numerous, reasonably priced and freshly prepared.

Sushi train restaurant with a lot of menus of food such as sushi, nigiri and drink, we have tried several menus here, those were good meals. Nice presentation and fun to watch dishes passed by.

Sushi was delicious. Service was very poor. My family and I felt very unwelcome, looked like the serving staff didn't want to be there. Pity, won't go there again.

I have been coming to Kintaro for about 5 years, before they moved. I can confidently say that it is nothing like how it used to be. The prices have increased which is understandable, however the portions have significantly decreased. The quality of the food was not up to standard which I tried to speak to the manager about, however she was unconcerned. Although I have been supporting this business for so many years, I won’t eat here any more nor would I recommend eating here.

The hot food are generally ok. But I’m not sure about the raw fish. I took the salmon nigiri & I felt sickly of its taste. I’m an avid fan of sushi train & eating raw fish but this is the first time that I’ve eaten a too fishy tasting nigiri— I felt so ickkk after that it ruined my appetite. I did not get food poisoning so I guess it wasn’t that bad but I won’t be coming back to this restaurant.

Arrived at 7.40pm and was told that whatever was spinning on the train was all what’s left and no more order. It was advertised for closing time at 9pm and we had about 6 plates spinning around us with place full of people. Really disappointed coming to a restraunt hungry for dinner and nothing to be served. Just cold food going round and round.

Asked for table water 3 times got it 20 minutes later when I initially asked. Ordered fried food like the takoyaki and the Karage because the ones on the train was cold. It took them another 15 minutes for them to grab the ones that were stone cold on the train and they lied to me as I asked is this made fresh when they brought it to me. They used to give bigger portions but they upped the price and made the portions smaller (might be due to inflation but yikes). Probably won’t come back to this sushi train again.

One of the staff was a bit rude and unpleasant, while another was cheerful.the interior is nice but presentation is not always standard.

I ate dinner here Tuesday night.
The food was cold, I sent it up to the kitchen twice.
I waited 30 minutes for 3 tempura prawns to be cooked.
I came down with food poisoning.
I won’t come back again.

Tasty sushi but I question how many rounds each plate does on the train not being heated or cooled. Also the ramen here is really terrible?

Ordered kids menu as usual, a waitress started to bring me individual plates of food instead of special kids train/car plate.so I said did you change your system? Then she brought me empty train plate so again I asked is this a new system? Her answer was the special kids train plate is too small to put everything. I said usually everything fit in there. (If doesn’t fit that’s restaurant’s problem) Anyway she said she will do kids menu price (cheaper than all individual plates because smaller serves) for me even they were individual plates so let other floor staff know when I ask the bill. (Well I thought she meant this but turned out she didn’t mean that?) And she came to me a few times and showed me kids menu and said “it’s 1 pc karaage. Not the whole plate” I answered “I know” Well you are the one who brought the whole plate! Was I supposed to take just 1 pc from the plate and returned? Then I asked the bill to her. She tried to charge me individual plates… So I said you said you will do kids menu price. She said “I already gave you a discount and You had 4 karaage it’s supposed to be just 1. ” I couldn’t believe… Manager said I can just pay for the kids menu price. And she didn’t realise she charge me kids drink separately even it’s included kids menu until I said. She never said sorry once. I don’t think she understands she has to order kids menu to chef? ! Also the TABLE, CHAIRS and FLOOR were NOT CLEAN. Still rice, fish eggs on the table and chars, many dropped food under the table. I stepped on avocado… They need to clean more after each customers. Hot tea wasn’t hot enough.

Went here for my Son & Daughters 12 birthday (12 of us). Great place and well priced. Didn't have to wait to long for seats either

Terrible food and service. Was waiting in line and the staff were standing around at the front of the store talking amongst themselves, meanwhile there were empty tables which they were not filling and tables not being cleaned. People in line were getting frustrated as was my partner and I. The sushi was room temperature and looked and tasted like it had been sitting there for ages. Feel sick after eating the sushi there, will not be returning.
If you’re looking for good food AND service go to Sushi Train!

Used to be one of my go too spots.but after tonight I'm not sure ill be going back, extremely disappointed.the conveyor belt was almost empty and the signs that say what the food items are were gone. We ended up ordered a few item, but they took so long that we cancelled them and left

Waited nearly an hour for delivery for order only to be cancelled. No explanation. Tried to contact store, person answered, didn’t talk. Subsequent attempts to speak to someone failed. Will not be eating/ordering from this establishment again.

Been there twice, only went the second time to see if my first terrible experience was redeemable. It wasn’t. Shockingly bad and rude service. Higher prices than other sushi places in the area. The food wasn’t fresh or of the high quality of the other places in the area. I asked for table water and they just quickly dumped a greasy, wet, warm glass refillable bottle of water down with two grimy glasses - also wet and hot - and then left. I rarely leave reviews but this place is not worth going to. Every other sushi place in the area is great!

1 star based from the fact they seemed to have about 2 staff on the floor for a full-house of customers. We waited about 15 minutes trying to order from the menu, left soon after. (i think the problem was we were sat down the side, right at the end. The middle area of the restaurant seemed to get fine service but we were forgotten about)

Wanted to spend $100 dollars on sushi but I couldn’t order on UberEats (pick up was turned off) and the Kintaro app (store wasn’t open for orders but other stores could accept orders)

Unfortunately I didn’t want to eat in due to covid and just wanted takeaway. Oh well.

Sushi and misu soup tastes good, kids meal is of a good size and price is fair. The main problem is the long time you have to wait in a queue before entering the place.
