Kingston RV Park reviews
48 Great location, plenty of room. Just a shame you can only stay/pay for 2,4 or 6 nights. $20 for 2 nights, we wanted 3 nights so had to pay for 4.
Be careful with dogs, as when we were there council were spraying Round up to kill the weeds (we spoke to the workers). Rang the Council to complain, as it is SO toxic (recommended not to use if you have pets but if you do not to let your pet near the area for 48hrs!) The man I spoke to said he would talk to them to stop. Too late as most of the boundary had been sprayed, a fellow camper told us!
What a FANTASTIC idea, this RV campground is so good. It is $20 for 2 nights (Min $20 even if you stay one), max 6 nights, purchase a ticket and display it on your dashboard and find a spot on the fairly flat grass. Tons of room here. There is Free potable water to fill your tank, a dump point, clean toilets (no showers), rubbish bins and a long pier to walk, running, walking, bike tracks, dog friendly and only a 5 minute walk to the shops. Great spot, but not a swimmable beach while we were here because of the huge wall of seaweed. Hopefully it will wash away for summer. But a very very quiet park.
Since it was so cheap, we had lunch and dinner at 2 of the local places! Thanks Kingston SE Council…
Brilliant campsite. And cheap. For us who don’t need power or water, this a spacious are for camping. There is a fresh water tap, just outside and a dump point.
Perfect setup and neat. Well done council.
Great spot, excellently maintained and convenient to pub and shops. Sadly, not everyone pays the $10 camping charge.
Great spot, a little windy but that's ok, a few streets from the center.the amenities are ok.only for $10 a night. No cars, no tents
Great spot to stay a couple of days it is big but open was very windy because there no trees blocking wind off the sea.water dump point 10 dollars a night but 20 min payment so I stayed two nights. Can up to six
Lovely spot near the water can get a bit windy close to shops and restaurants dog friendly $20 for 2 nights
Had a lovely stay at kingston rv the meal at the royal mail was good.
I'd come back
Great place opposite the jetty walking distance to pub and shops $20 for 2 nights big level sites
What a great spot. $10 a night. Nice big areas, mostly flat grass. They start rolling in from around midday. Near by toilets were cleaned everyday. Right by the jetty and beach and a short walk to town via streets or the walking track.
Highly recommend this Camp, thanks Kingston council for such a great park we put some money back into your little town.
Also highly recommend filling up at the 190 Mile Roadhouse just past the big lobster, friendly service, hot food and $3 shower or free with a good purchase
How can you go wrong for $10/night. Yes no showers, but water, dump point and close to facilities in town. Really enjoyed our stop over for 2 nights.
Thanks.
Very smart council has provided this park. At $15 for 3 nights (flat rate) ticket machine simple to use, fantastic camp area and plenty of dog walking room. Short walk to coffee and supermarket. Highly recommended.
Excellent facility for RV users. Flat grassed area with plenty of room to spread out. Beach one side town the other. Very clean toilets and kids park. Well done Kingston SE.
Will come again
Wonderful park for self-contained caravans! Has fresh water tap to fill tanks and dump point as well as clean toilets
Great stop with the caravan. $15 for the night. Clean toilets. No showers. Dumpsite and potable water available. Was gale force onshore when we were here. Lovely town though.
72 hrs for $15 as long as you are self sufficient.toilets close by, walking distance to town, 2 pubs, jetty to walk.and lots of other eating places, coffee, breakfast etc, fish and chip shop at jetty.and big Foodland supermarket all great.
We stayed for 3 days over a long holiday weekend and had a great time. $15 for 72 hrs stay, with toilet, dump site, drinking water but no shower or electricity. There was s a pay machine which takes credit cards and coins and gives out stubs which you can display on your dash board. Toilets are clean, there’s male and female toilets and due to the long holiday weekend, the toilets ran out of loo roll but campers are ever ready and shared their supply.
The place is walking distance to the laundromat, IGA, shop and save, coffee shops and bakery and… the pub! The pub, Kingston Royal Mail Hotel was just a bonus we weren’t expecting, good service and reasonably priced. There’s a post office too, dog friendly with poop bags everywhere and off leash area.
The stunning sunset can be seen by the jetty where many fishermen try their luck catching fishes.
The site is clean, one thing tho is the general waste is everywhere but no recycling bins that I can see.
Cheap, $17 for 72 hours. Toilets across the lawn, no showers or power. Need to be self sufficient. Few minutes walk to the pier and beach. Lots of bike trails. Shops 5 to 10 minute walk.
Top spot. $10 for 72 hours. Ticket via machine. Cash or card. Town is worth a stop. Excellent services and historical walk.
Awesome spot, cheap, safe and secure. Clean beautiful grassed area's, lovely walking area's. Well done Kingston, will definitely return
