Kingston Foreshore Caravan Park reviews
41A great place for a tent. There are toilets, a laundry room, a dining area, a playground and it's clean
Stayed in a two bedroom ensuite cabin. Great location but we couldn’t enjoy the sea breezes because the screen door of entrance doors was missing and the view obscured by dirty glass both inside and out. Cabin was clean but under the beds were filthy- you could see the dirty floor in main bedroom from entrance. We had 2 adults and three older teenage boys and the kitchen was equipped with one tiny crappy frypan big enough for a couple of eggs and two very small saucepans. Oven had a dirty, rusty baking dish in it. We had to go buy stuff to cook with which was ridiculous and an unnecessary expense. No cheese grater, can opener didn’t work properly, only a bread knife and steak knives provided to cut and prepare food. Why have a full sized hot plate/oven in a cabin if you don’t provide the necessary equipment to use it? No spare garbage bags, no oven mitt. Loved the location and if we return we’ll be bringing our camper trailer. We did email the park to tell them all this but received no reply. Spoke to several other people staying in cabins and they had similar concerns.
Great spot to stay in Kingston, right near the foreshore. New cabins are very spacious. Mattress was a bit firm for our liking, but the cabin itself had all the necessities. Beautiful sunset. Beach was crowded with sea weed, it was crazy.
Very disappointing.
Rooms were tidy.but not clean
Shelves, Doorways and Windows
needed dusting and a good clean.
Smoke alarm not working.nor was the bedside reading lamp.
The TV was not tuned into the channels.and we did try scanning the channels.without success.
We contacted the Office 3 times.
Once in person.and twice by phone
(left 2 messages.with no respnse.)
I wil not be returning to nor will l be recommending this Accomodation.
Right near the ocean there were 2 sets of bunk beds very small space, and would only stay there the night
Budget cabins are basic but very clean and comfortable. The bed was great. The heater worked like a charm. I was able to plug my electric car into an external power point to ensure I could reach my next destination. Communication from staff was timely, courteous, and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Kingston South East is a awesome place lovely food beach is great love waking along it has a big lobster and light house museum
Just a short walk across the parkland to the ocean, the location of this caravan park is great. It's a longer walk into town but still within reason if you choose to. The staff are friendly and helpful, greeting us with a smile. Depending on which caravan site you're allocated, some are on the smaller site and a little awkward to navigate into, but there are plenty of larger ones as well. The amenities are clean but could use an update. Overall, a nice park.
Managers, Annie& Dudley very welcoming. Have made a positive improvement to the Park in a very short time
The great location is the big bonus, on the negative side: old facilities, no swimming pool, overpriced!
This is a perfectly good caravan park has Everything you could possibly want. Big grassy sites.nice cabins.easy access.clean toilets and nice enough management. It is also on the beach. It is walking distance to town, the big Larry the lobster and the jetty. It also has a giant jumping castle. Do make sure you have mossy protection as they are very hungry angry little
Chappies. The park should have got a five star rating as it’s worthy of it, but it lost a point because the town is boring and the mosquitoes which neither are the fault of this excellent caravan park
Lucky us, we got the last available cabin for our stay. Clean and tidy.
Excellent location, short drive to the shops.
Great location, friendly. Reasonable rates. Just across from the water. Clean amenities.
Kristy the manager is brilliant, the work she does is amazing, office, cleans cabins, mows lawn, empty bins, waters the grass just to name a few things we seen her do this morning.
The park is lovely. Make sure you stop here.
We stayed in an ensuite cabin and it was awesome! Bed was super comfy, cabin was clean, plenty of hot water in the shower and a note on the fridge saying to contact them if we needed anything! The managers are doing a fantastic job. I received an sms on the morning saying our cabin was ready and and email with the 5 day weather forecast. The best park experience we have had. Definitely going back.
Booked one night accommodation via SA tourist successfully, next day received email from Caravan Park requested me to book at the least two night during long weekend. There is no any requirements about it when I booked it. However, they rejected my booking and would like to have someone who will book for 3 nights. Very disappointed.
We stayed in the new accessible cabin and it did not disappoint. Our electric wheelchair moved around the whole cabin with ease. The view was amazing too.
The staff was amazing our whole stay. Thank you again. We will definitely be back
Absolutely brilliant views here at Kingston foreshore caravan park, $155 a night for the sunrise cabin, absolutely brilliant facilities, everything needed for a quick weekend stay 10/10 for reception service, haven’t found anything wrong with this place, thank you for the stay will definitely come back
Good position, friendly, cabin good size, only request would b for comfortable chairs inside. Peter and Judy.
The cabin is very adequate in size @ the beds are perfect.nice clean park with good staff.don't be fooled by size.
What a beautiful park, great amenities, if it was any closer to the Foreshore, you'd get your feet wet walking to the loo, will definitely be back
