32 What appalling customer service on the front desk. Rude and abrupt with no warmth at all. You should be embarrassed, your level of service is far below what is expected.
UPDATE***Darlington Medical Centre has opened at the top of South Rd, 5 minutes drive from Kingston Family Clinic. After my last experience with KingstonFC I have decided not to return. I tried out the new DMC clinic and it is excellent. Beautiful new facilities, great customer service, and they bulk bill! Don't give this lot your business any more, they don't deserve it.
The women on the front desk of this establishment are THE most miserable people I've ever come across - nb DONT work in service if you hate yourself and everyone that comes in contact with you!

Receptionist Debbie would have to be one of the rudest frontline service employees I've ever encountered. I called to enquire about a telehealth call I'd booked online that was an hour late and she abruptly told me they didn't take any notice of the online booking times and just called people any time during the day. That's despite the messaging on their own website telling the public that they only take telehealth bookings online. Debbie clearly was irritated by me and my very genuine enquiry and couldn't wait to get off the phone. I've had only wonderful experiences with the lovely doctors at this clinic but I've had many unpleasant interactions with the receptionists. Debbie's attitude today however, promoted me to write this review.
They cancelled 2 appointments by phone within an hour of the appointment. Booked in for a cardiac issue, didn't seem to bother them.
They are impossible to see. Waiting over a week to make an appointment is normal. They advise to call at a particular time to make a short notice appointment, then have a phone that goes direct to a message at that time.
When you question this, receptionists tell you that they're "very busy" and "doing the best they can".
Avoid.
Unbelievable attitude from the receptionist with questions not about the issue at hand but focusing on the date of my last appointment followed up with advise to ring first thing in the morning. Really. You needed to behave this way? No focus on needing to see a doctor today but plenty of comments on unrelated matters. Very unprofessional behaviour. If any of this was done in a friendly tone, it might have been more palatable. If you don;t like your job, WORK SOMEWHERE ELSE!
I have been going to this clinic for 2 years now. I have an appointment every 4 weeks, and always have the same appointment time, with the same Dr on a Saturday morning.
I cannot recommend Dr Angela Moran highly enough, she takes the time you need, does not rush you out of the room. Takes the time to get to know you, and looks at your health holistically. I have a number of chronic health issues, that have required referral and management by speaker's & when I relocated from interstate she was more than happy to start the long tedious process of referrals to all the various new specialist here. I have had a number of hospitalizations, and she has made herself available to speak to the treating Dr's even on her days off, working another job. She takes the time to listen to any concerns, and to explain things to you clearly making sure you understand and that any questions are answered.
The reception staff, and the nurse that works on a Saturday are really lovely, friendly, chatty and helpful. The few appointments I have had during the week I have found that the reception staff are not as engaged, and talkative as the weekend staff, but we all have our days and they were still pleasant and efficient.

Have been totally happy and continued to use their expertise and excellence even when we move 10km away.now we have moved back closer am very happy.all the staff are always highly knowledgeable, totally professional and completely considerate.
Have been going to Kingston for last 6-7 years, and there regularly with four young kids, often several times a week over winter. Fantastic doctor who genuinely listens to and respects parents concerns over children's health, and bends over backwards to help. Nurses lovely too.highly highly recommend
This is the worse clinic we have ever been to.
My wife is pregnant, and the only thing they are interested in is getting us back in there so they can slug us another $75.00.
The dr talks to my wife and i like she couldn't care less, and as its a first child we would like to be helped through this by someone whos actually gives a dam.
Not only that, but she didnt even tell us we needed to find an obstetrician until we where at nearly 12 weeks pregnant and have struggled to find one since. (we have no clue what we are doing but expect our doctor to know)
She told us we HAVE to go to flinders public hospital even though we pay for private and wish to book our own hospital.
She has basically told us nothing and given us no support what so ever, which is a disgraceful way to treat people expecting their first child, we won't be going back to this clinic again, and will not be recommending it to any of our friends.
Receptionist staff are rather unpleasant and have bad phone manner, physiotherapist is excellent, nurses are nice, and the doctors are alright.
This clinic isn't the best. Receptionists are certainly not helpful - seem to always be in a mood. Dr's prefer a 'wait and see' approach. Impossible to get same day appointment even for young children. Have had a much better experience at a different surgery and receptionists much nicer and dr more onto it.
