Kingsford Hotel

We went to lunch on Monday 9 January 2023 with relatives. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the roast of the day. Which unfortunately was disappointing as it tasted like it been cooked the day before and was reheated. He said it tasted funny after having (2) mouthfuls and stopped right there. When we got home he felt sick in the stomach. I think this place needs food auditing by GORDON RAMSAY. It was our first time there and our last time!

Great venue pokies tab and sports bar haven't had meal for while but mates tell me really good

Gone down hill I'm afraid, we used to love eating here but had to return our meal uneaten

45 min wait for meals. Terrible snitzel, steak was ok. Really can't recommend this place.whatever you do, DON'T order the potato bake.

Caught up with old mate from army and had lovely meals - calamari and scotch fillet cooked to perfection

Meal could have been better. Ordered crispy skin pork and skin was only quarter crispy. Could have been better for price. Staff was friendly and service was good

We Went last night, potato bake must have been 1 week old, burnt and dry and grey, second lot not much better! Snitzel was average bland as.chefs need a sort out! Might have to send Gordon Ramsay there

Fish and chips and roast beef with veges.one of the best pub meals we have ever had.great service and good prices for our lunches, relaxing dining area.

Last night we had booked a table for 6: 30pm 17 of us. We didn't receive our semi warm overpriced meals until 7: 50pm
I was disgusted and disappointed. We will never be back.

Starters were ok the satay chicken skewers seemed quite bland and the chicken looked like it was steamed but the pork belly and steamed beef rolls were nice.

I found my beef fillet & mushroom gravy main with chips and veg was nice but the steak size was on the small size for what was charged.

Overall a nice place to dine with family and friends.

Nice front bar & TAB. Staff are great. Drink specials like other pubs would be great. Chicken schnitzel was burnt all around the outside, needed more cheese & tomato. I definitely wouldn't recommend eating the chicken schnitzel parmigiana.

Had dinner here on 28th July 2022. The customer service was first class, the setting was lovely with a nice warm gas fire on a cold night and the food was fantastic. My wife, myself and our friend who attended with us all made comment about how good the food was

Not family friendly, rude management and Really disappointing experience!
I dont usually complain about restaurants but I am really disappointed with how my son and I were treated.
I ordered a meal for my son and it wasn't what was advertised on the menu. My son didn't like it, I tasted it and I agreed that it didn't taste anything like and tasted very gross.
I mentioned it to the waitor and in return they brought out the manager.
I spoke to the manager, who was very rude and spoke down to me like I was silly for complaining. All I wanted was an alternative for my son to eat, but they rudly refused and snobbed me off because I mentioned that it was for my son. So Instead my son sat and ate chips for dinner because the so called squid that I was given wasn't freshly caught and cooked, but rather the cheap processed squid that take away shops use.
So in total for myself to sit and eat what was suppose to be a nice family meal was a waste of $100. Overall I should have just gone to maccas if I knew that my son was only going to eat chips.

Good location, service prompt, good range of seafood dishes on menu. Pick your own seafood, so very fresh.

The food is delicious, staff, very courteous, helpful, nothing too much, over the top, caring service

Head there with a mate most weekends. Always a good spot for a counter meal, a few cold beers and a punt!

Attended for a birthday dinner with a group of roughly 15. Food was generous portion and came out of kitchen at same time. Only lost a star as a couple of the dishes were inconsistent sizing with serving piece of protein.

Average and not remarkable in any way. Most of the dishes were fine but none of them were memorable. Chips served with just about everyone and they were cheap and nasty, fast food restaurant quality. The veg burger was very poor, the mushroom was OK but it was served with some pretty nasty and very cold veggies, especially the beetroot which felt as if it was served straight out of the fridge.

Coffees were OK but for some reason they couldn't deliver on a Vienna coffee, despite it being listed in the menu, and served a latte instead.

The place is decent enough but neither unique nor memorable in any way.

Reasonably busy, good prices for the food provided. Steak cooked perfectly and the chicken burger was great aswell. A little disorganised and confusing on where to go to order. Most of the staff interactions were plesant. Some workers seem disinterested in serving us. Would go again just for the food however.
