Kings Park Clinic reviews
21Disappointing this clinic that we have supported for years and a clinic that has been excellent has decided they need to charge children under 5 a gap payment of $20. The owners of this practice need to review this decision because it is nothing but price gouging. Young families have it tough as it is.
Lovely setting, easy to get into, welcoming service, love the two doctors I have seen, Dr Le Page & Dr Waddell, also podiatrist Joe Beilby. Felt very comfortable.
All of the doctors have been super helpful and I’m always very comfortable with any of them
Wow - talk about money hungry. We recently moved from SA to Tasmania and when we asked for my husbands medical records to be sent to his new GP - KIngs Park Clinic wanted to charge us. They have not updated his MyGov record. I have contacted his specialist and they are happy to provide the info. Very disappointed after all these years. If I could give minus stars - I would.
I have been visiting this clinic for the past 15 years and have found most of the doctors are caring and listen before prescribing medication but being a pensioner with a health care card I am extremely disappointed to be told I will no longer be bulk billed and be charged a $20 fee every visit. As you age you obviously need to see your doctor regularly so this becomes an added expense. I am now looking for a practice that will bulk bill and closer to home
Firstly, a shout out to Dr Elise Wells, she has been my GP for years now and despite moving away from the area I keep going back. Always listening and cautious, I also found her very balanced in prescribing medication and advising lifestyle solutions where appropriate. Secondly, to all doctors and staff here, it has been hard to see doctors during covid and this clinic only gets busier by the day - you do a fantastic job, all doctors I've seen when my normal GP isn't in or too booked out have been fantastic.
I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Wells as my new GP, she is fantastic and caring, best Dr I have seen since moving to Adelaide:)
Really hard to get appointments. Admin staff are not friendly however they are accommodating. The vaccination nurses are amazing. Some dr's are fine but others are condecending and give poor medical advice. One dr even told me there is no benefit breastfeeding past 6 months of age. They rarely run on time.
Absolutely worst service ever. I took my son to this "clinic" and the "lady" in the frontdesk asked me if my son is coughing, I said yes, that is the reason I took him here. She said to me, you wait in your car and one of our staff members will ring you and ask you some questions in your car and bla bla bla. I was waiting in my car from 1: 45 pm until 2: 30 pm, and nobody rang me or went to my parcking spot to tell me anything, then I left. Don't waste your time visiting this clinic.
Doctors here have poor ability to diagnose and they won't do a referral for you if your appointment takes the whole 15 minutes because they've run out of time. Shocking
No respect for people’s time, if you can send a text to confirm a booking you can send a text to inform patients you are running an hour behind schedule. No apology from counter staff and no notice that I may be waiting a while to see the doctor. First and only visit here.
My previous doctor made me feel like I was imposing on his time. After one visit here in 2018 I transferred permanently. From the front desk staff to all the doctors, everyone is pleasant and I am made to feel welcome and not like I am intruding. A smile is a small thing but can mean such a lot when you aren't feeling the best.
I have been to this place 3 times now since leaving the Army, each time I have been treated like a number, they have a production line mentality, I have never seen a place in more serious need of customer service training for its staff, they would rather talk amongst themselves than be courteous to the customers, even the Dr I saw could not get me out quickly enough, 5 min and $78 for the privilege, if these individuals don't like interacting with other people they need to find another profession.
The GPs I've seen here have been excellent. However my experience of this clinic is generally negative because of the front desk staff. As a customer I always feel like I am rudely interupting their admin work. Other people I know feel similarly.
Friendly staff and Doctors. Very good with paper work! I live in Melbourne so I left them a message on their website to have my invoice from two months ago reissued, and there it is the reissued invoice emailed to me in a day! Such a quick reply! I'm surprised! Definitely recommended!
II have received marvellous attention from the caring staff and could not have received better care.
Accidentally fractured my toe and the doctors there were very helpful and they got some crutches for me to borrow until we hires come from the chemist in the building very helpful
Been gong there for nearly 20 years bloody good place especially the ladies at the counter as they know the patients well and are very helpful the doctors are great too especially Susan Mather's thanks for everything
I don't know what Pauline's experience was all about but mine has been very different. Staff are always helpful, and yes, you do have to wait for Doctors sometimes but that is the same at any clinic. Dr Wells has been outstanding and really listened to my issues.
Horrible, lied to from the start, was told Dr I had booked in to see was sick, I turn up & that Dr is there & not sick at all. I was made to feel like worthless trash. First time & last time I will go there. They ran 45 min late, & they had me in tears. I was told "we can't help you, go elsewhere"I now know how much of a horrible nasty person I must be, only solution to getting rid of a nasty person like me is to kill myself. Then I wont be an inconvenience to anyone
