We were a group of 5 women who initially booked in 2022 for a 5 day trip aboard the 10 berth Ripple Effect. Covid and then the floods meant that after two cancellations we have finally been able to use our booking and have a truly wonderful holiday. I cannot praise Margaret enough for her friendly helpful service over the last two years; nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived Allan gave us a detailed rundown about how the boat/ barge worked and then it was up to Peter to patiently teach us how to drive, moor and negotiate the ferries in our new home. We were possibly slow learners but felt confident by the time he left us to fend for ourselves. The service from Kia Marina has been outstanding and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a brilliant holiday on the mighty Murray. Great features of Ripple Effect were the jacuzzi, top deck and spacious living area. Margret was prompt to answer the phone when we had questions whilst on board, even at 6.45am. Thank you to Margaret and Peter and team for everything.

Easy booking process. The houseboat is old but has been maintained very well. It had everything we needed and neatly presented. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway

Absolutely beautiful experience. We hired Lovelife for week as a group of 6 people m. The houseboat was in excellent condition and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend.

The office staff were very blunt and un welcoming how ever the man who showed us the boat and brought us back in were excellent, for the cost of the bond, hire and fees plus the 2-3 wait for our security bond back was very sub par compared to other places we have hired boats from. The total hire and bond were also much higher than other places and the boat didn't reflect the higher price. If it wasn't for the man who showed us around this would be a 2 star rating.

Never been on a house boat before and started looking well in advance for one to book Dec 2019.why did we choose them after visiting so many.simple. " The owners ", the friendliest, nicest, most helpful couple. Nothing to much trouble, fantastic advice, highly recommend.

We stayed on the carpa diem for 4 nights and was great. The ride was smooth across the murray and the genarator was very quiet

All my passengers whom have come from here have totally enjoyed the experience. With docks scattered all along the murry river getting additional supplies has never pissed as a problem for them. Hearing their reports make me won't to hire one of these boats myself for my family. Traveling with groceries to this destination is not a problem providing that the shopping is done just out side of town in mannum. When traveling from Adelaide an hour can be taken off the journey providing you make use of the fairy service to get across the river. The fairy service is also free of charge.

Rented the houseboat Carpe Diem over the weekend. The staff at Kia Marina were excellent to deal with throughout the booking process and return. The houseboat was way above expectations. Look forward to a repeat
