Kensington Osteopathy

I have been seeing Matthew for about 23 years and recommend them very highly.
With chronic back issues they have been the difference between constant pain and no pain meds needed.
Always professional and priced better than less experienced Osteopaths.

I will NEVER EVER go back to this clinic again.
Matthew Towers told me I didn’t need orthotics in my walking shoes & in fact told me I should also remove the lining from my walking shoe (not needed for cushioning apparently?) …which I did - I then had plantar fasciitis in my right foot within 1 week - he directly caused my plantar fasciitis because of the incorrect advice he gave me - it is now 4 months later & i’m still suffering with this debilitating pain every day.

He also said that he knows better than my shoulder surgeon & my rehab Physio, in regards to the treatment they advised for my frozen shoulder post surgery - found him to be very unprofessional & caused my foot pain which I didn’t have before seeing him.

Also, you’re in & out in no time for loads of $$$!

Avoid this place & his reception staff!

Since moving to Brisbane I haven't found anyone as good as Matthew towers. I'm actually thinking I'll fly back and get him to sort me out. Cheaper than washing my money in Brisbane.

This is a review for my attendance 4 years ago! So memorable that I still think about it to this very day. Dr Matt Towers is a magician, 4 years on and I still feel great. He is genuinely there to help people and get you on your feet again. Multiple issues of mine were resolved in one appointment. Knee, hip, back and shoulder sorted! He really listened, observed and was even mindful that I was feeling super anxious. Forever grateful.

I've been spending 200-300 dollars per week on chiro, massage and physio to help with my neck and back pain for the past 12 years. 1 session with Mathew and the pain was gone. Wish I'd met him sooner. Thanks Mathew

This rating is not for the service I received but for the interaction I had with the receptionist. I had pain in my hips and after my appointment I received no relief. After being told by the receptionist that with Osteopathy I would need to make 3-4 appointments to feel relief I wasn't that impressed. She offended me several times regarding my profession and made me feel like I was insignificant. Not happy

I have had 2 appointments with Dr Matthew Towers and the pain is nearly non existent. I am truly amazed and forever grateful. I 100000% recommend him it's worth every cent.

Avoid. Horrible receptionist and manner. These guys are all about money and a quick in and out service. There are much better osteopaths in Adelaide that offer a better service and price!

Dr Towers treats many professional level athletes giving me a great level of comfort that he can sort an amateur quite effectively. He has got me back on my bike many times and I will always visit him before an important event or race.

Update in reply to your response: I actually rang & left a message on Fri 28 Dec at 3: 30pm asking for an app in the afternoon of Sat 29 or any time on Mon 31 Dec. Samuel called back around 7pm on Fri but unfortunately I missed his call. He’d called to say there was some availability on both days & to call back & leave another message. I called & left another message at 9: 30am on Sat 29, then again at 2pm that day, begging for an app that afternoon or Mon first thing. I GOT NO RESPONSE, hence my call this morning, when I was told you were fully booked today. I think you should be able to appreciate my dissatisfaction given I’ve been bedridden with a bad back since Boxing Day. I’d have been better off if Samuel had told me you were fully booked so I could have tried getting an app elsewhere. If you’re going to open during a period when you’re usually closed, I’d recommend putting a better system in place (or any!) next time.

I really enjoy osteopathy. I think they genuinely help a lot. Enjoyed my quick visit. However, far too expensive! Crazy prices. Visited someone in Lismore who saw me for longer, probably did a better job, and charged almost half the amount. Would love to return here, but not sure it’s worth what it costs.

Mathew Towers is the first person I see if I have any body pain. I see him for everyday issues, but also after 2x bicycle crash's and 1x car crash. He fixes my pain every time and does not pressure me to continually book appointments. I definitely recommended Kensington Osteopathy!

I suffered from severe back pain and decided to seek Osteopathic treatment from Matthew Towers. After the first treatment, Matthew alleviated my pain and explained why my problem developed in the first place. Now, after several sessions, I am completely pain free and off all medication which has changed my life. I felt calm and relaxed throughout the treatment and I am now enjoying outdoor activities again. I found Matthews’s knowledge and passion for his profession to be astounding. I highly recommend Matthew to anyone needing relief from pain problems.

I have had back problems for 30 years, often requiring weeks off work. Been to Physios without success. Mathew fixed me up in one session. Should have seen him earlier. Has changed my life.
