We went for a meal but dissatisfied with the photos and lack of choices for us on the night. If you are after a lot of meat this is your place.

Food was good.
It's just a shame that we have to order via a little tablet on the table.
Very non personal way of service really and room for error, which thete was tonight.

Drove an hour to the establishment and ordered a rare steak instantly after sitting down. There was only in total about 20 people in the restaurant that had ordered already and were waiting for their food.

After a nail bitting 1hr 40minute wait my steak came out well done. After drinking a 1L bottle of water with my meal I came to the realisation that I could have enjoyed eating a seasoned cardboard box more.

I don’t recommend.

Wow this place has really taken a dive. Can't actually say anything good about it. What a shame. Would not recommend.

The service was pretty bad; we waited for more than 45 minutes for our food. The steak was overcooked at first and then undercooked in the second try. Plus, the price didn't match the quality of the food or service.

Just was not very nice at all

I watched as a female employee tossed a cigarette butt into Gawler St last night. That probably tells you all you need to know about this business.

Highly recommended food was well worth the wait and the waitress was very friendly and did i mention the food was delicious

Quality of the food has dropped. It isn't made with love like it once was. My beef brisket was dry and sad. Our waitress tonight was very good. I don't know if service alone is a good enough reason to return though.

The worst meal I have ever had! I ordered sauteed vegetables, which sounded delicious, but they were frozen and only heated in the microwave with a bit of garlic. I also ordered meatballs which were not properly cooked and I could not eat them, yet I was still charged for them! This was after waiting for 45 minutes, before they told me that the texas chilli I had ordered was not available. We waited over an hour for our meals and they came long after everyone else who arrived after us had been served. My husband had ribs and they were good but the potatoes were reheated. I felt sorry for the waitress who tried her best. I don't often write reviews but when something is so bad it needs to be said!

Staff is amazingly friendly, felt like one of the family. Food was the best steak I've had in years. A+

EDITED: 2ND visit, exactly the same quality, service, and staff going out of their way to make you feel welcome. We have found the new "Our restaurant" will recommend to everyone we know.

Cold food, wrong meals bought out twice, rude wait staff, tasteless food. No soap or towels in toilet. Will not be going back.

Mouth-wateringly delicious steaks and brisket, the best customer service and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

A lot of money for a mediocre meal. I always struggle when as a customer I am blatantly lied to…a medium rare steak is not a well done steak. I know that steak aficionados will disagree with the request but when you’re paying almost $40 you want it done how you want it done. The only decent item we had was the onion rings. My family were travelling from interstate & am disappointed to say this experience coloured our visit.

Great atmosphere and good drinks. But, my wife got a beef burger and I got beef ribs, the burger meat was tough & had no flavour. The ribs were tough and disappointing. Tried going back and had an equally disappointing experience. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere.

Ordered a steak, the brisket and a kids steak plus garlic bread. Service was fine, lady was lovely and very accommodating so no issue there.
Main steak was overcooked, brisket was definitely not slow cooked as the menu stated, it was tough and chewy and due to a medical issue I then couldn't eat my meal as can't digest tough meat.
Kids steak was completely inedible, rare and disgustingly chewy. Son couldn't even eat one piece of it but thankfully he could eat some of the brisket.
Garlic bread was burnt to a crisp and Tasted like plain bread.
We personally hate making a complaint so only said about the kids steak when asked at the counter but still then nothing but a sorry about that.
$117 for meals that were really bad.
Like to support local but was disappointing and don't think we will return

The manager and the staff were great, unfortunately sort of where it ended, my medium steak was $60 and I asked for medium and got very rare in half of it, my partner ordered the flat head which look amazing when it came out but was super oily, so much so that the oil soaked the chips and ran off of the board onto the table,
We ordered brownies for dessert and we’re very overcooked was very dry and hard,
Was Really looking forward to Chinese place as I love my steak but I must admit was a severe letdown

Chicken was way overcooked. Kids beef burger raw almost blue. Didnt expect an apology (which we didnt get) but Blonde waitress to top it off was extremely cold and rude. Just under $300 to feel like we had annoyed her just by being in the restaurant.

Went out for a nice Friday night dinner with the partner, we waiting 45 minutes for the food to come out. When they finally arrived both our meals were stone cold, my ribs were as dry as jerky, tasted awful. I ate not even half my meal the only decent part was the Coleslaw, so spent almost $40 for this only part being edible was the salad. When we got to the counter to pay, explained to the waitress and she said we could have asked to re make it but honestly I didn't was to wait over an hour for food. It was super quiet and still don't know how the food was that bad and cold.
Highly disappointed, use to be our favourite place. But honestly don't want to go back. Local pub serves better food for half the price!

Although we arrived early without a reservation the staff and the chef were kind enough to let us in.the food was delicious and there was hardly any wait time, you order through a tablet and it's super easy they have craft beers and alcoholic ginger beer.
