I tried the Bah Chor mee, noodles were perfect, and they adjusted the chilli level down for me - really tasty, and friendly service

Authentic comfort Singaporean food. Closest taste of Singapore Laksa we ever had in South Australia cos mostly are Malaysian Curry Laksa. I would prefer lesser coconut cream in it though and with the Taupok simmered longer with the gravy to soften and absorb the flavor.

Mee Rebus reminded us of the Chinese version we had in Singapore and would welcome a little addition of sliced bean curd and twist of lime.

The chilli for the Hainanese Chicken Rice was simply heaven. Right balance of spiciness, sweet, salty and sourness mixed with ginger. The rice was also by far the best we had.

Bak chor mee was really well prepared and we would prefer a little more vinegar. The noodle was so "Q", mixed with the sauce and infused with the "braised" mushroom elevated the true flavour of Singapore style bak chor mee. The soup was thick and rich.

The prawn paste chicken like other said, forget the wicked wings from KFC. They were truly wicked.

The mural art truly added the Singapore feel.

Lastly I must express my gratitude to the 2 staff there today. Their honesty requires acknowledgement and pat on the back. Left my wallet at the table and they reached out to me via FB messenger to my surprise. Thank you.

Definitely a place for Singaporeans to visit and support as well as for others who do not know how Singapore food should taste to visit.

AMAZING! Singaporean living in Perth. I was recommended this place and the Katong Laksa in particular by a fellow Singaporean. ABSOLUTELY MET ALL EXPECTATIONS! Sooo delicious, will definitely come here to eat every time I’m in Adelaide. The BEST Laksa I’ve had in Aus. So good I’ve just ordered a second meal

Nice staff - good effort overall.
Got the Laksa / Cheong Fun - taste was overall good.
Servings too small for the price - I had to go get some Hong Kong buns later to get full.
Teh Tarik was served in a small glass.

The Katong Laksa is as good as what I had in Singapore. Was so keen to taste it that I forgot to take a photo. Really wanted to try the Mee Siam but was full after the Laksa. Definitely comfort food for me who grew up in the Katong area. So glad to find this restaurant in Adelaide.

Awesome food. Was blown away by the flavours of the various noodles served. If this restaurant was in the city area or Gouger Street, there will definitely be a long queue cause its that good. A little hidden gem in Port Road. The owner and his staff was also very friendly and accommodating to children. Definitely worth a visit.

As a Singaporean I Loved the yummy authentic flavours in the
the mee Siam, tasted the yummy chicken curry from the Nasi lemak, BYO was encouraged. The warmth of the chefs shone thru in their food!

Terrible experience here tonight from top to bottom.
We ordered chicken rice, mee siam and 2 cans of drinks. (The laksa was sold out.at the start of dinner)
The cans were not cold.fine, and
we then waited over half an hour for the meals to come out.still okay, the meals themselves though truly took this experience to disaster level.
Both dishes were barely entree sized portions. The chicken was flavourless but passable, the rice was dry and the bokchoy was cold.
The mee siam came in a bowl sized for children. It consisted of half cooked vermicelli, half a bowl of broth that was bland and lukewarm, a couple slices of fishcake and no egg or other parts.
We would have sent it back except another diner had the exact same complaints about his mee siam
Another customer even brought back her whole takeaway order because the dish was 'too dry' and 'so small'.
We really looked forward to a great meal after seeing all the great reviews and photos, but tonights meal was unacceptable (inedible).
