A must do when visiting KI, very fun experience!

There was a quick registration and waiver signing when we arrived. There is also a restroom and there were drinks on display.

The place has several ATVs in different sizes and multiple tracks to choose from. There was even an option to extend the session if needed for a little extra charge.

We had the option to ride in a bigger one (buggy) along with the instructor or ride a 1 seater ATV ourselves. If at any point we feel like we don't want to continue driving then we also had the option to hop off our ATV and join the instructor and the others in their buggy, and they would park ours at the side along the track for the moment.

We had an instructor named Pete guide us through the experience. We started with the suit up, and then the instructor mentioned that full clothes (longer sleeves, full length pants and shoes are recommended for the activity).
Next was a quick training session where we got to learn the basics of the ATV controls and driving in general, and also the signals to look out for from the instructor during the ride etc.

He did a great job of instructing us, especially the ones who had no experience at all with a lot of patience and care for the elderly in our group both during training and the actual ride. He also gave us a lot of knowledge and background of the local flora and fauna, and also the events like the bushfires etc.

It was an all around enjoyable experience, 10/10 would go again!

Highly recommend the sunset quad bike ride. We got to see a bunch of Kangaroos and an echidna. Marcus was a great guide and very entertaining and knowledgeable.

Fully recommend Edge of Earh tour, our guide Marcus was fantastic. We were lucky enough just to be the 2 of us and him. Stops along the way very educational on both flora and fauna and to see Cape Kersaint beach was stunning on a beautiful sunny day. Thanks for an amazing time Marcus. Fiona and Paul.

My family and I had a ball on the quad bike tour. Definitely a highlight of our KI holiday. Pete was an awesome tour guide making us feel safe and also provided a lot of information during our tour. The quad bikes were easy to ride after a brief training session. We loved every minute of it. Highly recommend if your going to KI.

Kangaroo Island is known for it's beautiful nature, but this was absolutely the highlight of my trip (or seal bay. I can't choose. Also go to seal bay!) We were lucky to only have two of us doing the twilight quad bike tour.

Marcus, our tour guide met us and was incredibly friendly and helpful. It wasn't before long that we were out on the trails. Marcus chose some great points for us to stop off on where we learnt about some of the natural history of the area, saw tons of Kangaroos and a massive echidna who let us get up really close.

I would definitely recommend this, especially the late afternoon tours starting at 5: 30pm as you're guaranteed to see Kangaroos in the wild (and not the usual floppy ones along the road when you're driving)

My family had a great tour with Marcus he was very patient with us as we have never been on a quad bike our youngest one took some time and ended up in the buggy for that part, he was very caring and calm
we were all happy with our tour and fun on them

Fantastic tour today lead by Charlie. Very professionally run and caters for all riding skill levels. The 2 hour tour was unbelievable! Very fun tracks through beautiful countryside. We would definitely do the 3 hour tour next time and we recommend these guys for your next adventure. Do yourself a favour and look them up!

Great Experience with Quad biking. Jordan was really helpful and friendly who shows koala, Porcupine and Goanna on the track as we passed. Must try this. Highly Recommended!

The team at Outdoor Action were so friendly. We had a great 2 hour tour with our tour guides Charlie and Amanda. They spent the first 30mins training us so that we all felt comfortable before going out on our ride. We were 2 families of 4 with kids aged 13 and 15.
We had stops along the way where Charlie would talk to us about various wildlife and trees. This made the tour very interesting as well as providing many photo opportunities.
All the staff at outdoor adventure were very friendly and made us all feel comfortable.

We had such a good tour. We took the kids ages 6 and 8 - Lee our guide was really great with helping them. We even learnt some things about the animals. We highly recommend!

Had a great time here. We did the "All Terrain Quad Adventure" (I think!) - and it was fantastic. There was just the 2 of us, plus our guide. After a short induction to familiarise us with the quads, we were off. The tour was tailored for us - we were given a few options during our tour about what what we'd like to do, which was great. Highly recommended!

Awesome time with Lee, our guide for the tour. He was amazing. Very informative and knowledgeable. We had a great time riding on the many tracks in the area, over rocks, through mud and sand, and up and down hills. We learnt about the environment and wildlife, it was a great afternoon, we had so much fun.

Did the quadbiking tour booked through Viator. Felt very safe but also had a nice adventure at the same time. Well looked after by Sharnee who was very knowledgeable in the history and wildlife of Kangaroo Island

Had a awesome quadbike tour our guide (Sam) was extremely knowledgeable and professional would definitely recommend!

Quad bike tour:
For $200 we got almost two hours of exploring. Sharnie was our tour guide (forgive me if I didn’t spell it right,) she was amazing and funny. Felt like a long time friend. The other girls that were there (we didn’t catch their names) were super cool and friendly too! Definitely a highlight of our trip! The tour was a mixture of fun facts about the nature and environment of kangaroo island, fun with driving on different terrain and seeing sights but more importantly experience. Definitely will be making a return in future!

Kayaking:
We hired kayaks and did the self guided tour. It was a really fun day! You get a few hours with the kayaks for just $50! Super fun to explore on your own, they give the option for a guided tour too if you don’t feel comfortable by yourself. Sharnie (our guide) was the best! She helped us into our kayaks and was always friendly & helpful. Our group loved her!

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Jordan was our guide. He was most patient teaching me to ride a quad bike. He truly enjoys showing visitors the natural beauty of Kangaroo Island. Highly recommend this.

I had really good experience with my guide Sam, He take cared me very well, help me practice a lot before start my journey. And he show a lot kind for local environment, I feel so appreciated for he did these much. This is a wonderful trip I wanna tell everybody.
