K- BAP Sushi & Korean Food

Very humble, small, family-owned Korean cafe in Kensington. Lovely welcome upon entering. Ordered the Hot Stone Bimimbap which came out sizzling and tasted great. My only feedback would be there was not enough meat (maybe only 1-1.5 tablespoons of beef), and the other person I ate with also thought the same for their regular chicken bimimbap.

Ordered a bibimbap and serving size of minced beef was ridiculously small. I ate in the dining area and took me all of about 2 minutes to eat it all. The young man said 'you must have been hungry' but I didn't have the nerve to tell him how small the serving size was.

We went here twice and love the place. Amazing, tasty, authentic Korean food. The gentleman and lady running the place are very kind and friendly. Also baby/toddler-friendly with toddler cutleries available. Our go-to Korean place in Adelaide. 5 stars.

Haven't been a for a while, but was passing by after work for late lunch. I remembered the food was always really great here and it didn't disappoint this time. If I had lived locally, this place would be a regular diner.

So good! Probably one of the best Korean joints in town. Good food done well, no frills just flavour.

If you're craving home cooked meals, then this could be the place that you must try. We are not Koreans, but we could taste the homey feeling with the dishes.

Perfect little mum and pop place. Cheap, delicious, home-style Korean.

Love the spicy squid, cold noodles and of course the hotstone bibimbap. Definitely recommend getting the banchan sampler plate to try a few different things.

Authentic homestyle Korean food made by an actual Korean family. Simple, honest, and damn tasty. True nostalgia of actually being in Korea. It's my favorite place & even does the rare treat that is naemgmyun 냉면

Hidden gem in the eastern suburb for home cooked Korean food, just the way a mum would cook. I always feel so good and healthy after eating here. They have the traditional cold noodles in the summer!

We eat here regularly and the food is always great no matter what you get. The service is great and is run by a family. The kimchi pancake is one of our favourites.

I've had a couple of meals from here and they've been excellent! Reasonably priced and delicious. And the staff are friendly as well. If only they did fried chicken this would be the only Korean place I'd ever go to.

Truly excellent food that you can tell is fresh and handmade. I have had the banchan here a couple of times and really appreciate that they can be bought to take home on their own. I recently had the spicy chicken stew which was SO GOOD - super soft chicken, really well-balanced broth that had plenty of depth, and even the accompanying bowl of rice was of good quality. Definitely recommend this place if you like Korean food. Also quite reasonably priced!

Amazing! Visited for lunch while my washing was at the laundromat. Lovely staff and fantastic service. The food was beautiful.

Very friendly and homely feel. Ordered spicy pork, cooked and served with pride and passion! Respect!

Suffice to say that we love the food and the ambience. KBap is our go to when we think about eating out for dinner. Healthy tasty and different.
