My experience and my childs experience were awful and, unfortunately, continues to be awful - long long after I had completely moved on.
I have attempted to resolve this amicably with the business - as have other parents I have been in contact with.
I am only posting again as this business has recently made defamatory posts about me on other social media sites which they have now been forced to remove.

To be clear - I had moved on because I would rather lose the 2k (and thats a big call from a single Mother) than have to deal with them any longer.

Any attempts of civil discourse has been met with threats and letters from their lawyer.

I will keep this simple.

If you are looking for quality tutoring and an ethical business - Jumbo Learning is not for your child.
Very unhappy with the service and the Business owners in general.

Get everything in writing - because a verbal agreement means very little.

Priscilla has been an incredible ally in my son’s learning journey.

He started mid last year with low grades and low self esteem due to poor management of his needs with ADHD in the school classroom.

Priscilla tackled every tantrum or meltdown with kindness and optimism and turned things around for him very quickly.

We are thrilled to be continuing with her support this year for both of our boys. She is a wonderful, caring and knowledgeable teacher.

My children look forward to seeing Priscilla every week. She is professional, knowledgeable, and communicates well. The extra help and support they receive from her has been invaluable and is reflective in their growth and results at school. Thank you Priscilla

Very poor experience with this business and would definitely not recommend them. Just look at the responses they give to customers with poor experiences - rude, dismissive & calling customers liars for providing feedback. Disgusting behaviour.

My son absolutely loved attending tutoring here. He always came home with a smile on his face and stories about what he had learnt.

I found Jumbo Learning extremely helpful, it pulled all of my grades up in 1 term and it is a joy working with Priscilla Zephaniah.

My son has been under the guidance of Priscilla for over a year and is now almost at the end of year 12! We are so happy with his progress and thank Priscilla for keeping him on track during these last 2 important years.

I had many bad experiences with Jumbo Learning.

The final straw was when tutor Mrs Z did not turn up to a pre-arranged lesson in March 2022.

The day after this, we informed Mrs Z that we did not want her services anymore.

I then left a review reflecting the bad experiences we had from Jumbo Learning.

Shortly after this, I received a letter from Jumbo Learning’s lawyer suggesting:

1. I had signed a written arrangement committing us to payment for the rest of 2022 – ie I owed her payments for term 3 and 4 of 2022, even though we stopped lessons in March 2022.2. They would commence legal proceedings should I not comply with their demands of not publishing any further online reviews.

I requested for a copy of the supposed written arrangement that we had signed. Till this day, I have not received a copy of this written arrangement or any emails to back this ‘written arrangement’ up.

The legal advice I had received is that there should not be any recourse for leaving factual reviews which this is.

Having seen the nature of Mrs Z and Jumbo Learning, I am glad we are no longer using their services. Children are very impressionable, and this is one influence we do not want for our children.

Myself and my wife engaged Priscilla to help our son with some learning difficulties in Term 3 last year and we continued with the tutoring as we have seen a massive improvement within our son's learning through out last year. He has gained confidence in his learning and development along with being able to stay on task. Priscilla has also been in communication with his teachers also and they have worked collaboratively to make sure Stefan has the best out come with his learning. Our son is on the spectrum and Priscilla has been working with our son to help him with his concertration and attention along with other associated issues that he suffers from being on the spectrum in general we have seen a massive improvement with our son not just in his learning but also with his social and behavioral aspects too. He looks forward to seeing Priscilla every Saturday morning for his lessons and enjoys his time there. There have been times where we have had to discuss our finances with Priscilla regarding payment for our sons tuition fees and she has been very understanding and accommodating. We have had no issues with Priscilla at all regarding our sons turion and Priscilla will always either let us know atleast 24hrs before whether there are any concerns in regards to our sons attendance or the session might be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or if Priscilla might be running a bit late for what ever reason either way she is always in communication with us. I will be continuing for how ever long my son needs Priscilla for his tuition. I have no problems in recommending Priscilla to anyone who might need their child to have extra tutoring she has done amazing things for our son who can be difficult at times aswell. But Priscilla shows great patience and understanding with our son and I will continue to use her services until he needs too. Keep up the great work Priscilla and we love what you have achieved with our son so far. Thank you

My son has started going to jumbo learning 6 months ago, I have seen massive progress of his improvement of his vocabulary and has become very confident in the past 6 months. We are so proud of his progress. He always looks forward to go to the class.

Priscilla has been fantastic educating my son this year. My son is now able to write short sentences freestyle, his reading comprehension has improved significantly along with his maths skills.

Priscilla is passionate for her student’s well-being and successes. As a student of hers, I feel valued during our sessions. I feel that, ever since I began working with her, the work load that I had been been drowning in since the beginning of the year, has finally been lifted off my shoulders. We are making some great progress together and I finally have the confidence that I never had before of finishing my schooling with high results and somebody I can rely on by my side.

Priscilla is an amazing teacher. I am a mature aged student and struggle with the written word but she has taught me how to decipher what is in my head to be able to get it out onto paper! Thank you!
