Julie's Dumplings reviews
6 Dumplings are extremely expensive. I was shocked at how small the fillings were in the dumplings - on average, they were as much as about 2-3 chickpeas and the rest was the dumpling wrapper. Tastes nice but even 10 dumplings will NOT fill you up. The plate was so light when the dumplings came out. Better spend your $18 on something else. Also, the soy sauce is watered down. They also sell frozen dumplings (e.g. Japaneae/Korean) that you can buy at Asian grocers but charge an arm and a leg to cook up a few. How can you not feel ripped off?
I know times are tough and they are probably cutting corners to make ends meet. But it was such a disappointing experience. If you are going to charge a premium, then respect those who choose to pay premium and buy local by giving them what they the money is worth.
Really nice dumplings! Fried ones could be a little bit crispier, but very tasty.
Spent over $100 and dumplings were pretty sub par to what's around Adelaide.
Spent $106 for 2 people and left hungry. Portions are very small for the price and quality is just not that great. Did not have soy sauce with dumplings. We were very dissapointed. We will stick to dumpling king. Wont be returning.
Every single treat meal is Joe Dumpling, my boyfriend and I often drive 40+ minutes just for it! Love that it caters to being vego without feeling like I'm missing out on anything at all.
Julie’s been making some of the best dumplings in Adelaide for over a decade now. Very simple but wholesome menu if you eat in, but on the rare occasions I can make it there within the opening hours I mostly grab a couple of bags for my freezer - they cook up beautifully at home when you need tasty but low fuss food.
