Joogeezz reviews
35Great little place that took on our table of 15 no worries. Staff were super friendly, kind, and professional. Eggs Benedict was pretty good, the balsamic glaze was a nice little addition. Thanks to the crew there for putting up with the volume output of a big group with graciousness.
Dropped in for a coffee and cake, service was friendly and prompt. Coffee was spot on and the caramel walnut tart was delicious!
Not the best service
food is average
staff looked under a lot of stress.place isnt 100% clean
I have just had lunch at Joogeezz. The crab bisque was super and the grilled kingfish delicious. Best of all the staff was helpful and extremely friendly.
Best pork sausage roll I've ever eaten. The pie we got (forgot the flavour) was amazing too. Delicious Danish pastry. Thanks so much.
Worst experience. They don't know how to behave with customers. Served cold sandwiches.
Went there for breakfast for 2. Coffee was very nice. We ordered eggs, bacon, tomato
and toast. I asked if I could have only 1 egg/toast instead of 2 but was told the price would be the same so I stayed with original menu. Also was not asked what type of bread. Just
as well that we liked our eggs runny! We sat outside and were served without utensils so I had to go and ask for some.
Whilst food was fine, overall service was
not.
Overallmenu. We were not asked how we would like our egggs cooked. Just
Went for lunch on a busy Sunday, immediately welcomed by front of house staff and given a menu.
We ordered the shellfish Pie and pork/fennel sausage roll. Both meals came with a lovely garden salad.
Both meals were a delight to eat, wholesome, filling and incredibly satisfying. We also ordered an iced chocolate and strawberry milkshake, along with the cherry Danish and lemon tart - yum!
Wanting food where everything is made in store, with friendly staff and a great vibe… this place has it!
Lovely cafe lovely staff.
Had the best pork and sage sausage roll ever and a lovely pot of English breakfast tea. Highly recommend
Slowest service I’ve had experience took well over 30 minutes to get our mail them to find. They gave me the wrong one and I had the manager come out here and accuse me of taking someone else’s mail and being the rudest, most arrogant, horrible little man that you could ever imagine hon would you come back here ever?
One of the few places in Victor Harbor to serve breakfast. Pleasant place for coffee and breakfast.
Bought coffee and cake here and was told by a very rude staff member to leave because he needed the table. There was no one waiting for it. Won't be returning and will tell everyone I know not to go here.if I owned this business I would fire that man on the spot. Absolutely awful customer service. Absolutely horrible experience.
Absolutely horrible service and absolutely disgusting behaviour from owner made me feel so uncomfortable as all they did was stare at me and my family waiting for a hour for are food would not recommend ever to anyone not even a fly
Disappointing. Waited 45 minutes for avocado on bread. Service was poor, need to be taught general customer service. The female ‘owner’ I’m assuming came back with some snarky responses instead of taking it on the chin & apologising. Do not recommend. Overpriced & basic food that I could have made in my own kitchen.
We visited Joogeez after an invigorating walk around windswept Granite Island on the morning of 14/10/2022. We ordered a cappuccino, hot chocolate, slice of lemon cheese cake and orange syrup cake. The hot drinks were served promptly and were lovely. The cakes were delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. Well worth visiting and supporting a local business that has struggled due to the ongoing redevelopment of Ocean Street.
Always try to have morning coffee & scones here. Wotth the trip from Adelaide.
Good staff & service. Very good variety of food on offer. Hoping to back in a few days.
Spent weekend in victor harbour, would highly recommend, Great cafe to pop into for breakfast, greeted by staff entering, had 2 salad rolls and some chips, couldnt fault the food very laid back vibe, the people so polite, made a great start to our day.
Highly recommend and will stop in when im back out that way
The food here was really delightful
My son had the Joogeezz Big Breakfast at lunchtime with the entire meal cooked perfectly. He also had the kids chips and nuggets with both filled him up which is no mean fete.
I had the seafood pie which was different in flavour and absolutely moorish!
Friend had the sausage roll and was quite delighted.
We also had the banana and mango smoothie yum yum yum and finished with the beautiful cherry cheesecake. Totally lovely food. Service was slow but they were quite busy. Noticed everyone finished their plates so that's a great sign. Prices are medium.
1st visit was perfect for 2 coffees and 2 raisin toast.
Decided to go back next day for 2 coffee and 2 raisin toast each paid extra $7. Only to be told by owner that's what you get 1 slice as it was thick cut. We tried explaining we paid extra money so expected 2 slices each. Owner decided he didn't want us in his shop and requested us to leave even though we hadn't finished eating let alone drink coffees.
He grabbed our cups and toast put them in take away cups and placed them on tables outside the cafe. Demanding we leave, I asked for our extra money back which he gave $5 so I asked server for $2 more which she gave. She couldn't understand the owners outrage, nor could we. He wasn't willing to listen his behaviour was terrible and embarrassing. I left in tears and wouldn't wish this for anyone.
Coffee was very good. Tried the seafood pie, was surprised to find it had a perfectly cooked scallop inside, very enjoyable. Overall a nice cafe in Victor Harbour, and the girl at the counter was friendly.
