John Miller Reserve reviews
17Nice park close to the beach and ample parking. It has public toilet, workout equipment for adults and a new playground that is shaded.
Always a great spot to relax.
Public toilets, disability parking, exercise equipment.
A very beautiful garden, but it lacks night lighting. Lights turn on at night so that it will be a wonderful garden. I hope they put a light in it because my children love to play at night on holidays
A great large grassed area, undercover seating and there is sometimes even a coffee van that shows up!
Nice reserve, good walking area and delicious coffee or chai if you time it right. Nice to find a little bit of shade on a 32° Christmas Day
Very kids friendly beach with bbq facility area. Only con is that it could be a bit a bit bigger and only one toilet which has always a Q infront of it.
It's a great place, great view of the ocean
Lack of signage to state where things are. Such as where the public toilets are.
Beautiful place to visit and enjoy with the family especially on summer nights. Includes a kid friendly playground that overlooks the amazing beach.
Ideal for family get togethers, with play facilities for children, covered, shaded areas and convenience facilities and parking nearby. Located opposite the beach which is ideal for swimming.
Quaint little sea side park right on the waters edge. Great for a picnics with spectacular views.
Good place for children with swings and slides, monkey bars. It is also fenced around. Adjacent to it there's a bbq and benches to sit. There's a gym beside the play area which is nice. The toilet and drinking water facility is also just close
Great little park! A much better option than reserves closer to Bighton. Usually the two bbqs and toilets are pretty clean but on busy weekends or long weekends the local council could clean more often. There is loads of grass to kick balls or frisbees, a fenced playground that my 3yr old loved and a basketball ring. There's only one table for the whole park so bring your own rugs or picnic table.
If you can nab a park close by you are in for a treat. Adequate seating & shade. The kids loved the fenced in playground.
Nice reserve with playground, large great space. Also had basketball courts and exercise equipment. Located right across the road from the beach, great views.
Neat public space with grassy area, fenced playground, one free barbecue, several picnic benches and shady area. A small basketball area and public toilet too! Very well equipped next to the beach
This reserve definately is in need of some TLC. For such an affluent area such as Somerton Park it is really lacking in facilities for kids and is not up to the same standard of Seacliff or brighton
Absolute beach front. Two shaded eating areas, one BBQ, one automatic toilet, children's shaded play area, adult exercise machines, plenty of lawn and hard play areas.
