A great value add for the area friendly staff and a centre committed to the health and well being of local residents

This place is an absolute wonder! From the art work as the roof on your way through the front doors to the basketball courts, gym to local immunisation programs. The staff here are also very accommodating and friendly. A great place to find out about the Playford area.

As a visitor to the area I was surprised to find this very new to me (7 years old) facility which offers so much for community sharing. Top class sports and gym facilities, very worth a look.

Staff very friendly.l was attending the pink lady event. Tne only drawback was there was basketball playing on the court next to us. It did have a divider but was still noisy for our wellness event.

Not just a sports centre. We attend cooking, after school craft groups and novita groups. Great facility and good coffee at the cafe.

I attended a meeting there. Nice place for a community centre. Very accessible by car and bus, also an accessible centre for those with access requirements.
The meeting rooms look good with adequate room for a range of meeting sizes. There is a good range of food and drinks available.
A nice place to visit and an asset to the community.

We had a very big event for two nights for 400 people each night. The center is really big and beautifully maintained. They have 2 courts which could fit a 1000+ people but we only used one court. The court is well managed and the two function rooms are well equiped. We needed to hire tables and chairs and a stage as JMC does not have enough for a function as huge as ours.

The staff was amazing, helpful and friendly. The center is manned 24x7 so it was very easy to find help when we needed it.

Overall, we would love to use JMC services again.

Not much gym equipment. It's missing alot of dumbbells and they have no pec deck machine. No dip machine no rowing machines. Very small class room so FX 30 and other classes aren't done as the videos say. It's a very clean place with friendly staff though.

Great place for a relaxed gym/rehabilitation experience. Doesn't get busy, even at peak times. There's a creche for the parents, Staff are friendly and welcoming, with a barista at the ready for coffee breaks and there is even a purified drinking fountain in the main hallway!

Love my classes here, wish the gym was open more accessible times for me, but the classes rock!

Visited the centre due to granddaughters being signed on to do a school holiday activity. Have never been there nor have i ever heard of this centre (live in different council area). Facilities are large and look quite modern. They have a large entry/reception/cafe area with quite a lot of tables that you can sit at and enjoy a really great batista made coffee. The kids were in the sports area of the facility (2 full sized basketball courts that also have other sports court marked on the floors) and i noticed that there were 2 other areas on either side of the main courts. Unfortunately i cant tell you what these are used for. School holiday programmes (come and try sports) are not the only programmes available at the centre. There are gardening, cooking, fitness and other classes for all ages.

Love JMC, so inviting and friendly! Amazing facilities! Only downside is that it's not 24/7 but love the classes and the gym, so many options!

Only a small gym, but it's never too busy to get the equipment you want. They've got classes, basketball courts, a cafe, and more. Joining/member fees are affordable, and the staff are friendly. I've also seen one of their exercise physiologists and she has been great and the reason I was confident in joining a gym.

I absolutely love this gym! If you are looking for a friendly, well equipped gym with knowledgeable staff then I highly recommend John McVeity. The atmosphere is laid back & friendly unlike some gyms & the staff go out of their way to help.

I’m glad I do not play netball there anymore.the umpiring is consistently shocking and one sided.it’s also not graded either and so you are usually exposed to teams that have played or are playing outdoor netball competitively and beat your team by thirty to forty goals.it’s not really enjoyable to play these teams and it’s not really fair either.
