Absolutely the worst venue to sell merchandise from the owners terrible attitude and not her problem behaviour was terrible. Not sure if they realise but merchandise is where these bands make there money from we were so embarrassed these bands came from the UK and America and were treated so poorly Heads up to Booking agents do your homework first before booking these types of venues

Why have comfortable couches, for people to sit in. Then people stand in front of you. Doesn't make sense.

Don't have couches in this venue.

I do not like looking, at people's backs.

I love Jive.drinks are reasonably priced, lots of seating, lots of standing! When there’s a good sound guy you’ve got yourself a little haven for live music.a great intimate venue.nothing better.cheers guys

The vibes here are so cool, really funky interior, plus when i went they had adelaide hills cider on tap which is a biiiiig yes from me

Out of all the clubs on Hindley Street in Adelaide, Jive is my favourite. A little bit smaller (and less crowded than most), entry is always $5 and the music is pumping -usually dance-worthy throwbacks to the 70s, 80s and 90s.
Naturally there are normal club issues -sticky floors and a wait for the bathroom, but none of it seems to matter when you're having a good time. I really recommend Jive, especially for its themed dance nights (usually on Saturdays).

Saw Keiino live here in Oct 2019. The band was amazing, the venue was great. They have good drink specials and overall, it's a great venue. I have taken a star off for the quality of the mens bathroom. Needs some repair work in there quick smart. Other than that, really enjoyed my time here.

Excellent club but the tap in the western side pf the mesn room needs to be tighter (the hole tap will rotate when you try to use it) other than that it is a gr8 place to see a band

Love it. One of the coolest venues around, simply because of the design. It's really cool to be able to go up to the mezzanine and watch but sadly they don't always open it up
