2021: We always stop here on our travels before heading west and no exception today. Amazing variety for a "small" shop. Better prices than the Foodland in town. Never too busy.
UPDATE April 2023. Back again. Still a great place to shop and better prices than the touristy Ceduna stores. Got some great meat specials.

This looks like an older IGA but the prices are really good, shelves are stocked well and the service is lovely. The staff have a chat and are great, so we'll be back.

Better than Foodland because it has more, different stock, loads of specials and is big and never busy. Staff are super helpful.

But yes. I've tallied all purchases that are exactly or similar to the alternative supermarket in Ceduna.
Thevenard Jim's IGA was a total of $76.11.
Alternative supermarket & only competition in Ceduna, same products came to a total of $101.88.
Quite the difference when that is repeated three times a fortnight!
Add to that the customer service was fantastic, includes Post Office inside the shop & from my experience the people who work here at IGA are so much more genuinely friendlier - we won't do our grocery shopping anywhere else now. We've just moved here so extremely happy to find we can save almost $1400 per year AND get a smile each time!
Great shop & in my opinion deserves a rating of more than 4 out of 5.
