Jetty Caravan Park reviews
39 We stayed in our van in the park.
The toilets were really clean.
The grounds well kept. The camp kitchen is the nicest I've ever seen. The park is in a good spot near the beach. There's a games room on site, keeps kids busy.
Only thing is the boom gates were a little annoying, not wanting to open. Then having trouble with them coming down as we were going through.
The price of caravan parks in general is ridiculous.
Our family has stayed at Normanville Caravan Park for more than 30 years.
We flat out refuse to pay the stupid amounts of money demanded of us to simply pull in and plug an extension cord into our fully contained, fully self sufficient off-road caravan.
Highway robbery
We just stayed one night in a 'BeachComber Executive' cabin by the river. Well appointed cabin, with a king-size bed in a very tranquil setting - seemed like it was just us and the birdlife, which was plentiful and varied. It wasn't cheap but we'd come back again!
Lovely clean caravan park.
Service when booking I was told final payment due on day of arrival. They phoned me 7 days before booking date demanding full payment
Overall a good park and good for me in a van down opposite the river, however, they have constructed cabins on the old caravan sites opposite the beach. They then placed a fence in front of the cabins, I guess for security, thus blocking the view of the beach from the decks of the cabins. So if you hire a cabin you can't sit on the deck with a drink and enjoy the water views. Doesn't make sense to me. Go figure.
Highly recommended Big 4 Normanville.
We spent a lovely weekend away with family. The executive ensuite cabins were immaculate and very comfortable. Location was good, close to beach, shops and good sight seeing. Lovely service from reception staff. Thanks so much for having us …. We will be back.
My sister and I went camping. We booked into Jetty caravan park. The place is very tidy. The people at the desk are fantastic, very happy and happy to help with your enquiries. We put the tent up and went exploring. I would recommend this place. My sister and I have plans on going back later in the year. They are dog friendly. Yes, people dog friendly.keep your dog on a leash.
Owners/ managers and office ladies are so rude and unhelpful next time I'll stay somewhere better
The council is renewing the carport & grass seating area. Hope its better wen its finished!
Absolutely beautiful location. Cabin was just a cabin, but being so close to such a beautiful beach is worth double the dollars!
This is our 3rd year spending our holidays here at Jetty Caravan Park. We love the old school vibe and closeness to the beach. We hope the old cabins remain as we love to stay in these - suits my budget. The new cabins do look very fancy and lovely though.
I just popped in on speck, prefer all my traveling that way. Melissa (?) the stand in caretaker was just so lovely and so accommodating. What a fabulous caravan park. Everything was spotless (well not the person who had my site before me as I have never seen so many cigarette butts which staff would not have seen)
It is obviously being developed and how nice do those cabins look. The games room and camp kitchen with fabulous views. It was all lovely and family friendly. It was at the top end price wise but if the standards are kept up then well worth it.
We stayed in there new cabins. Fantastic layout catered for readers with side lights along side of bed. Plenty of double powerpoints throughout. Two tvs one in lounge and one in main bedroom. Fantastic deck looking out to the sea. The camp kitchen was fantastic providing everything you need if a group of you wanted to have a meal together. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to visiting again when the park renos are completed.
Brilliant spot to just chill! Clean & tidy you won't want to leave! Great beach & scenery
After going for the bike rides, licking the public toilet seats and doing the boring boardwalk. There is pretty much nothing to do, I'm 87 years old but this is even boring for me!
Nice caravan park, lots of grass and lovely trees. Close to a great beach. Only drawback is that they are going to remove caravan spots and replace with cabins: (
We loved our short stay at the Jetty Caravan Park in Normanville SA. If it wasn't for the Covid lock down we would have like to stay longer. The park is near the ocean and has a lovely cafe on the beach. Its also very close to the town. The park is very clean and has clean bathroom facilities. Kitchen is awesome and has everything you need. The powered caravan sites are plentiful and have lots of good shade and green grass. The couple on the reception are so friendly. Thank you for having us.
Stayed in a cabin, it was clean and pleasant, the staff were friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The park was clean and well maintained. We had a great stay.
Love this park clean and tidy amenities, on the beach. Kangaroos in the paddock next door. Kids love it.
One of the nicest beach parks on the peninsular. Clean tidy, friendly staff, good amenities and lots of grass. But let's keep it a secret.
