Jenkins Reserve reviews
33Most people keep their dogs on leads so it feels safe and on the foot paths the public keeps to the left allowing for easy passage for everyone. It’s a pleasant place to visit
This park. Ya can't beat it. These trees are insane with the changes of the day even the cliffs. I love it here
This park is were they do dog obedience but I was just cutting through to go to the Central Disticts Hospital as I live very close.
It's a beautiful little park, my only issue is that there are inconsiderate idiots who have gender reveal parties and leaving their rubbish. It happens alot at this park
Really nice dog park but a bit too much dog poo around. Perhaps if they had bins inside the fence, more people would pick up after their dogs.
Big oval, dog parks, tables, benches. Lots of parrots squawking and nibbling at pinecones. Can start walk from here and extend all the way down to Carisbrooke or further up the upper little para trail.
Jenkins reserve is a beautiful place to be. It's peaceful, well maintained, full of bird life, there is a dog park and multiple trails to walk. The dog park can be muddy & boggy when it's been wet.
We have just started dog obedience training there on Sunday. This is a very well organised run club. Thanks to all the instructors for making us newcomers feel so welcome.
Such a giant and clean park, with some great features. Some of these features include a playground for the kids, toilets, a small river/creek & so much well kept GREEN grass beyond the eye can see.
Great place to take the kids and have a kick around. Has a small amount of play equipment for the younger folk to!
Large reserve in Salisbury Park next to the Little Para River. Lots of shade with wide open spaces, walking trails & Jenkins Reserve Dog Park.
Great place to visit for a picnic although the day we were there people were allowing their children to throw cans and bottles on to some of the shelters roofs with them rolling off near other people and finding it extremely funny
Great place to sit under the shade of a tree and watch the kids play.the nature around was beautiful
We visited the dog park, which is huge and split into 2 sections.clean, plenty of shade and our dogs enjoyed it.
Such an amazing walk right on the centre of Salisbury. The escarpment is like being in the NT. It's always clean and maintained. A beautiful local park.
Good to walk the dog but to menny groups of Indians putting up large tents and taking 90" of the grass area
Awesome park, bbq, toilets, playground, huge spaces for sports and the best is the upgraded path now suitable for roller skating
A fantastic place to go for a walk or run with a dog amongst nature, plenty of walk trails, has a great dog area and training also, plenty of parking, can get pretty busy on certain days overall great park.
This reserve is great to visit, with beautiful old gum trees especially around the creek.and lots of water plants & nasturtiums growing under the cover of the trees inviting lots of butterflies. Big tree trunks laying down for children to play on, a covered play area plus a covered adult exercise area with gym equipment. There is a fitness track, Tennis Courts, a dog park over a small bridge with a playground. There were toilets at the courts/oval.
All suitable for wheelchair access.
