34Wonderful food, the fish was beautiful, cleanest F&C shop I have seen. The service lady was also a delight!
It's not real calamari, so disappointing and they tasted horrible.
Prawns are real but batter is over done.
Batter on fish is overcooked you can't even taste the fish.
No manners with customer service and yes I used mine.
Had to pay for a lemon wedge to go with fish.
Not worth the money.
We had an awesome fish and chips experience in Australia! Tried the butter fish and garfish – both were fantastic! The fish had a crispy outside and a juicy inside with the perfect batter. Shared a cone of chips; a bit salty but still tasty.
Other places in Victor Harbour were closed tonight so extra busy at this cafe. Very efficient service and the food was great. Thanks?
Whilst travelling stopped here for battered flathead and chips. Service was great and the food was awesome. 10/10
Insanely slow and we just ordered chips. Would be quicker to grow, cut, and cook your own potatos won't be going there again
Excellent chips. I didn't try the fish because I was after hot chickens, which they didn't have.
I thought the C stood for chicken, but F & C is obviously fish and Chips!
Amazing takeaway for a very larger order! We rang through the order and everything was ready as we arrived. Good quality fish, great gluten free options clearly marked on each packet. Highly recommend.
Delicious gluten free food, separate gluten free fryer and grill. Definitely worth a visit!
A really nice fish and chip shop. I always appreciate a place that asks if you want chicken salt rather than just adding it. A lot of people like regular salt! Fish, good! Chips, good! Other stuff, good! Go there!
'best fish and chip in Victor Harbour'? - Gee the other shops must be pretty bad, worst fish we have ever had, look elsewhere
We luckily learnt that you order early as they stopped taking orders before closing. It was very popular and we had a fair wait. The yiros was good with plenty of meat but the chips were a bit over cooked. Great menu and they are efficient.
The worst fish I have ever Eaton, had fish here 2 years ago it was fantastic, I'm never coming back
Friday before new year's eve.
Waited 45minutes.
Pore lady behind desk rushed off her feet.
Chips always over cooked food oil needs changing more often.
(I use to work in a chippy)
It closes early, always seem to be closed on special events.
I understand that it's a busy time, however, more staff is needed. Not enough serving or cooking, it's a busy holiday time. The town is full of visitors, as well as locals.
The fish was just warm & dry and same with the chips.
I won't go back here. Went there on a Saturday night around 6: 45, ordered food and sat down waiting. While we wait the staff start putting chairs on tables all around us like they were about to close. I asked the lady and she abruptly said they close at 7.30. The place was still pumping. I saw a sign on the count that said no dine in after 7pm but we were in there before that so I thought the staff could have said you guys are ok to eat in. Guess not.
We took our food and sat in the car. From the ordering to the being given the move along vibe I was starting to feel like we weren't welcome. The chips were plain and the fish was covered in something I have never seen before. Meant to be batter I don't know what this was but it was not nice.
I saw who I assume was the owner and now I could see where his staff got the bad attitude. Just be nice to people.
You definitely won’t be disappointed in buying your favorite Fish and chips here.
They have a wonderful selection of Australian owned Riviera drinks.
Clean and well presented takeaway or dine in shop.
We asked for well done crispy chips and done to perfection and the fish also cooked well in beer batter.
They have meal packs and drinks special to that won’t break your budget.
Highly recommend.
Ordered a grilled fish yiros and it was delicious! Very packed with fish and worth every buck. The potato fritter was okay, not the greatest one I've had, not much seasoning, very crispy though!
Excellent fish and chip shop that does burgers and yiros too.
Gets very busy, but service is generally fast, friendly and efficient.
Parking around the area can be a pain though!
$12.50 for a hamburger with the lot what a like it was a messy pile of slop if going to charge that much then you must justify it!
