It Takes A Village reviews
32The staff were very friendly and helpful and my toastie and iced latte tasted great. Toastie was bigger than expected and came with potato chips. Excellent community cafe!
Great little cafe with excellent coffee and wonderful service. Not too many menu choices and outside seating a bit uncomfortable but that won’t stop us returning again soon:)
Excellent coffee (from Vice coffee, formerly Caffiend) with various brewing methods and single origins and blends available. Delicious home made cakes and cookies, and very friendly and personable service. A few varieties of to toasties available. Nice bright ambience. Various coffee beans available to buy (and can be ground to order). Toilet in the same block of shops old but clean. Also fresh sourdough loaves to order on Thursday and Sunday. Also coffee beans to buy and handmade ceramics.
Good coffee and service, and a nice area out front. Shame about the towers terrace traffic though.
My friend and I called in today for our fortnightly catch up from up south. We shared a lovely toasted sandwich which came with some savoury potato chips,
we then downed a lovely piece of cake recipe of the guy on counter mother's with a cappuccino. Nice clean, friendly service. We will be back. Pet friendly with a wall of the regulars. Thank you.
Give these good folks a try. Lovely coffee. An offer of a carafe of water. The treats (cakes and nibbles) were fresh and looked yummy.
Great coffee, and the sourdough is amazing. Lovely staff. Will definitely be back as I loved the coffee.
Coffee this delicious doesn't need any of the accoutrements but they have that too - awesome people, cool crockery, quirky and frequently rotated art, local vibes, and scrumptious sourdoughs on Thurs + Sun. So lucky to have this as my local.
Coffee a bit on the pricier side for what it is (not sure if single o) but the staff are lovely and chat to you like an old friend, so worth a visit. Pretty cute decor and seems like a very inviting place. Would travel across town for coffee here again.
Nice little spot and super tasty treats! Generally good service, could use a bit of music to help the vibes
We love this little local business. Wonderful coffee and toasties, and the kids love painting their own biscuit. Being able to pick up a fresh loaf of sourdough is a special added bonus!
Cute local cafe with tasty coffee, handmade ceramics and sweet (including GF) treats! A delightful spot.
Always enjoy the good coffee and good food.certainly a sweet little neighbourhood spot and always enjoy interacting with the cool staff
My partner and I came here for the first time and had the displeasure of being served by a pretentious jobsworth (male) who was rude from the first sentence. Some basic manners and customer service wouldn’t go a miss. Get over yourself and treat the customer with respect even if you find the question of whether or not you have flavoured/sugar syrup insulting or unintelligent for some reason. Unbelievable.
I love this place. The owner is very friendly and they do really good decaf which is a hard find. I also love their toasties and rotating pastries - it's always a surprise what treats they will have each day. Menu is not extensive so better for a light lunch or morning tea. The beautiful ceramics, plants and doggie wall-of-fame create a great atmosphere.
Fantastic local coffee spot. Super friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
Good selection of cakes, biscuits and toasties if you want somethibg to eat.
Great little sopt with friendly staff and local feel. Good coffe/chai, toasties and fantastic sweet nibbles. They also sell fresh sourdough Wednesday and Sunday and croissants Saturday. Would recommend!
Excellent service, food was simple and delicious the bread they use is amazing. Great ice coffee. Absolutely loved this place
My wife and I took our 3yr old grandson. Great hot (warm) chocolate for the little one and great cappuccino and latte for us. Nice comfortable place.
